Popular YouTube sensation Technoblade has sadly passed away.
It was only last year, the gamer shared his diagnosis with his 10 million subscribers…
He also explained how he had undergone chemotherapy, as per his YouTube video.
According to UNILAD, the YouTuber said if he had 100 lives he “would choose to be Technoblade again every single time…”
“Those were the happiest years of my life. I hope you guys enjoyed my content and that I made some of you laugh and I hope you all go on to live long, prosperous and happy lives, because I love you guys. Technoblade out,” he said.
But a message from his mother at the end of Technoblade’s video left fans heartbroken…
“This past year had a lot of rough spots for our son as he battled stage four cancer,” she said.
Technoblade’s mother further revealed her son “didn’t complain,” adding he “kept using his famous strategic mind to try to beat what he knew were almost impossible odds.”
“My son’s bravery on this path was a shining lesson to all of us who were privileged to walk it with him,” concluded the teary-eyed mother.
But then came the dreaded news, on 30th June, the YouTuber’s father read out a “farewell message” from the YouTuber.
According to reports, the YouTuber, whose real name was Alex, had written the letter “hours before his death.”
And ever since the video was released, it has reached more than 13 million views…
And nearly half a million heartfelt comments…
“This is heartbreaking. From one father to another, I am terribly sorry for your loss. Your son was a legend. May his memory live on,” wrote one fan.
While another said: “You’re forever with us and you will be missed greatly, Techno. Thank you for the memories. Thank you for the laughs. Rest easy king x.”
