A mom has sparked a huge debate online after writing that she wished she had never had kids and will always regret them.
Keep scrolling to find out exactly what she said.
Now, there's nothing quite as rewarding as being a parent. The love between you and your child is something unlike any other feeling on earth… It’s a pretty magical thing.
But that's not to say it's easy...Being a parent is basically the hardest job on earth – and the pressure to be a perfect parent can make life even more stressful.
Parenthood can be incredibly tough...Newborn babies are hard work, that’s for sure.
Not to mention if you have twins. That's 2 lots of screaming babies, 2 lots of diaper changes, and 2 lots of babies wanting milk.
And twins can offer a further issue to some parents. How do you tell the 2 apart?
Well, one mom came up with an innovative solution...But it's safe to say it's been rather divisive - both online and in her real life.
In order to help the daycare tell her boys apart...A mom shared on Reddit that she'd given one of her boys a tattoo!
On paper, it sounds pretty crazy...But it was just a tattoo of a freckle and he never felt a thing. It was also vital he had the tattoo.
She posted to Reddit about it."I have 2 beautiful fraternal twin boys. Jack and Adam. Thing is Jake has a condition. Without going into detail, requires a shot once a week. I went back to work and MIL offered to watch the babes. Worked very well until a month ago when she gave the shot to the wrong kid," the mom shared on Reddit.
"Now they may be fraternal but they look identical. I'll be honest my husband and I even mix them up sometimes. Everyone does.""Doctor recommended a medical tattoo. Explained they tattoo a freckle, no bigger then the end of a pencil eraser, on an area of skin that's easily seen while the child is under mild sedation similar to dental offices. Because of the area it usually fades in 2-3yrs."
And there you have it.Now, we live in a world where some wonderful things can happen.
The giver of life. That blesses us with the births of thousands of babies every year.
An incredible moment for the families involved. After waiting 9 months they finally get their own bundle of joy.
And fortunately in today's day in age, pretty much anybody can have a baby. But one woman has gone viral recently for claiming that having babies was the biggest regret of her life.
"I am a mother of two, but I wish I was a mother of none. Yes, I preferred my life without kids. I preferred it so much that I wish I'd never had them."The unnamed mom, writing for Kidspot.com.au, went onto say that before she is the victim of judgment, she wants to make it clear that she does love her two sons with 'all her heart'. However.
"Before I had my two boys, my life was amazing. I absolutely adored my career and my husband and I were extremely happy together."
We traveled, had an incredible social life, we were like some sort of rom-com montage of two people falling in love and living their best lives - but real. It wasn’t just a phase, we were like this for 10 years but then we decided to have children, and once our first child arrived, things changed and not for the better. They then had one baby, but she said that she 'wasn’t and couldn’t be who I had been before'.
They didn't want to have an only child. For a number of reasons - but after having the second baby the mom claims that 'nothing changed'. Now her 'social life is lacking' and her career is more of a 'job'. In conclusion she wrote:
If I knew how I would feel after having kids, I never would have had them because, trust me, this is not how I want to live my life. What do you think?
