Now, being a mom is incredible.
The love between you and your child is something unlike any other feeling on earth… It’s a pretty magical thing.
But it’s by no means easy.
Being a mom is basically the hardest job on earth – and the pressure to be a perfect parent can make life even more stressful.
There are some aspects of motherhood that are just eternally frustrating. Hey, no one said being a mom was always going to be great fun, right?
There are many aspects of parenting that are tricky.
But there’s one thing pretty much every mom out there can relate to, which is feeling like you’re constantly under scrutiny.
Sometimes parents can feel like they aren’t doing anything right.
And the world feels as though it can constantly comment on their every move.
And being mom shamed is no fun.
But it still happens more than anyone would like to admit as one mom recently experienced…
One mom, named Leanne, recently viral after she gave a cup of tea to her young son and was blasted on social media for doing so.
But now, she’s hit back and defended her decision to let her son enjoy a cup of tea and people are praising her for doing so…
It all started when Leanne posted a video to TikTok showing her son drinking a cup of tea.
In the video, which has been viewed more than 1 million times, Leanne can be heard asking her son what he’s driving to which he responds: “Mama, cup of tea.”
After sharing it to the platform, Leanne received hundreds of comments on the video, many of them discussing whether a young child should be drinking tea.
“My kid loved tea until my health visitor told me to stop as it can cause them to not produce enough iron and they can end up anaemic,” one person commented to warn the mom.
But, after receiving a host of critical comments, Leanne hit back…
Taking to the comments of her video, Leanne wrote that it “won’t hurt him.”
“For the ones who are commenting about the tea… He had seen me with a cup of tea and wanted one, a cup with a small amount of tea won’t hurt him,” she wrote.
What’s do you think? Is a small amount okay?
