A babysitter has come under fire after a mom found out she fed meat to her children, despite them being vegetarian.

Now the outraged mom is demanding the teen pay “emotional support money” to her for the ordeal, something the babysitter has refused to do.

The nineteen-year-old opened up about the recent incident, explaining she was asked to look after a boy, 9, and a girl, 7, after she was recommended to their mom by her other families.

The teen shared on Reddit that she looked after the kids for the first time and when it got to lunch, they both asked if they could get a chicken nugget Happy Meal from McDonald’s.

She decided to treat them as they had both behaved themselves while she was looking after them. But as soon as their mom returned home, things got a little heated when she noticed the nuggets.

The babysitter said: “The mum came home early and saw her children eating chicken nuggets. She literally ripped the nuggets out of their hands and started screaming that I’m horrible for allowing her children to eat dead corpses and yelling at her children for eating the meat.

“She kicked me out without paying me and then later text me saying that I need to pay her $300 for each kid for the emotional damage I have caused them and if I didn’t she’d take me to court.”

Luckily, both her dad and brother are lawyers, so she isn’t too scared about being taken to court.

She wrote on Reddit: “I refused to pay the money and told her that she should have told me that she was vegetarian and I would have made sure to completely respect her family diet choice and since she didn’t tell me it’s not my fault.”

Redditors flocked to the comment section, giving their thoughts on the mom’s outburst. One wrote: “Give her contact info to your lawyers. Ask her when you can expect to be paid or if you should settle that as well in court.”

Another wrote: “It was her responsibility to tell you her kids were vegetarian. She still owes you money for babysitting. I’d be willing to bet she has pulled this stunt before to get out of paying and maybe try to get some extra cash.”

“Obviously the kids already had eaten chicken nuggets at least once, otherwise they wouldn’t have asked for them. Which makes the ’emotional damage’ claim even more ridiculous.” a third commented.
