Mom Leaves Her Phone Alone With Her Two-Year-Old Daughter and Immediately Regrets It | 22 Words

Parenting is hard. And as much as we might not like to admit it, sometimes you just have give in and hand your child your phone because it calms them down.

But, this doesn't always go well as one mom recently found out when she left her 2-year-old with her phone and immediately regretted it. Read on to find out what happened...

When you become a parent, things change forever...

And you learn new skills and life lessons.

Importantly, you also learn how to look after a mini human...

And more than often, it can be hard. Very hard.

There's the crying...

And the tantrums.

Sometimes you just have to give in.

But that doesn't by any means make you a bad parent.

As parents, there are many things we may feel guilty about...

And one increasingly tough debate that parents face is with technology.

Technology is incredibly common in today's society...

With the age of users getting lower and lower.

But how young is too young?

Well, that's a question that only you can answer.

There's nothing wrong with allowing your child a small amount of screentime...

Or allowing them to play games or watch cartoons.

But, if you do, you might need to keep an eye on what they're doing.

As at times, things can go horribly wrong.

And you might be lumbered with a huge bill!

As one mom found out...

Isabella McNeil was recently faced with a big surprise after she handed her phone over to her tech-savy 2-year-old...

And it's safe to say, she won't be doing that again.

The mom from San Deigo, California, had been looking for a new couch...

Sat at home, she was browsing the web to find the best one.

But as she scrolled through Amazon, her 2-year-old daughter Rayna, came over with other ideas.

The toddler came over asking for her mom's phone, she explained to NBC San Diego.

Not thinking much of it, Isabella eventually caved in, handing her phone to Rayna.

Blissfully unaware of what Rayna might do.

It wasn't until a few days later while at work that Isabella received a notification on her phone.

A notification that read: "Your couch has been shipped."

What couch?

Isabella hadn't yet bought a couch, and she even questioned if she had ordered it in her sleep.

Until she remembered...

While playing on her phone, the smart toddler had accidentally pressed the "Buy Now" button on Amazon.

Leaving Isabella with a $430 tufted, grey couch that would cost her more than $100 to return.

Instead of returning the couch to Amazon and paying a fee, she decided to take a hit and resell it on other platforms.

Despite this likely to earn her less than the original price. Lesson well and truly learned!

Well, we doubt that she will be doing that again!
