A mom has been left furious at ‘pathetic’ Secret Santa present that was gifted to her by an anonymous colleague, and here’s why…

Now, giving Christmas gifts to your work colleagues can be a little difficult, especially if you’re not all that close.

That’s why there’s usually a $5-$15 budget when it comes to secret Santa, right? And you’re usually gifted with some bath bombs, chocolates, books, or a comical gift.

Whatever it is, it’s a nice added touch to whatever Christmas traditions you have at your workplace.

Well, this year, 1 woman didn’t find the experience all too pleasant.

Posting her experience on Mumsnet, as per Mirror, asking whether others think the present is just as vile as she thinks it is.

But, it might help if you know what the present is first, right?

Well, the gift she was given, which was supposed to be comical, was a coloring book of swearwords.

But, the problem for the woman was not that the book contained swearwords, it was that she actually found the words within the book very misogynistic and sexually inappropriate.

“I have always avoided Secret Santa arrangements where possible due in no small part to threads on here. This year we had some new members to the small team I work in, in a professional environment, who suggested we arrange one amongst ourselves, and to avoid looking curmudgeonly I agreed,” she began on the forum as per Liverpool Echo.

“I have been gifted an adult coloring book and some felt tips. I must admit I found this disappointing in itself as I never got swept up in this craze and am a little disappointed that one of my colleagues has concluded I am an adult colorer but that’s by the by.

“My real issue is that it’s the ‘Go F**k Yourself I’m Colouring’ 50 swear words to colour your anger away, adult colouring book. Which should be fine, I like a robust swear and I have a job that can very much cause stress but I finally looked at it properly today and a lot of the words to colour are not swear words per se but really, really unpleasant misogynistic, sexual slurs and terms that I associate with pornography not swearing,” she continued.

“I have actually found myself quite offended that someone thought this was an appropriate gift for a fifty-year-old female colleague in a professional environment.

“My quandary is whether I should say something to the group or just hide it in the recycling and forget about it? I think I have attached an image so you can see the kind of thing I’m referencing,” she finished.

But it seems as though many people just didn’t get why she was so pressed.

However, 1 person did sympathize with her, saying that they too, got an awful gift.

Yikes, that seems a little worse than the adult coloring book, right?

And others said they stopped participating in the tradition after gifts they received in the past, as well.

So, it’s safe to say she’s probably going to give it a miss next time.
