A couple were left shocked after they ripped up their old carpet to discover a giant Monopoly board painted underneath.

After a picture of the board was posted on Reddit, the internet has been going crazy

Now, everyone loves a game of Monopoly.

Even if it can get very competitive…

A game can last several hours.

But, just how much do you like it?

Enough to paint a replica Monopoly board on your floor?

Well, someone’s done just that.

When one couple were ripping away their carpets, they discovered a giant, life-size Monopoly board painted on their floorboards.

It even featured chance boxes, a jail, and a community chest.

After a picture of the board was posted on Reddit, the internet has been loving it…

A Reddit user shared a picture of the giant board writing:

“While tearing up their carpet, my in-laws found a giant monopoly board.”

The giant board is the US version featuring classic destinations like Connecticut Avenue and Vermont Avenue.

It also includes chance boxes, a jail, a community chest, and railway stations.

The board is thought to have been painted onto the floor by previous owners.

But as Monopoly, made in the early 1900s, has always remained a popular game, it hard to tell how many years ago.

So, what will happen to the board?

Well the original poster has revealed: “Trying to convince them to cover it in epoxy and do the rest of the flooring around it how they originally wanted.”

We hope they keep it!
