More Than $100,000 Raised for Woman Whose Home Was Destroyed in Anne Heche Crash

The woman whose home was destroyed during Anne Heche’s car crash has received more than $100,000 in donations to help rebuild it.

Lynn Mishele was living at the home when it was destroyed by the incident.

Heche, fifty-three, was taken to hospital in “a critical condition” following a car crash last Friday…

According to Sky News, the actress had been “driving at speed down an LA street” before she crashed into a house.

The Los Angeles Fire Department noted that the crash “sparked a heavy fire” which left the actress with burns…

That requires “surgical intervention.”

In the video taken just after the brutal accident, the actress’ behavior was rather erratic, according to TMZ.

Apparently, Heche was “acting erratically” soon after she lost consciousness.

Sources told the media outlet that the “law enforcement were able to get a warrant.”

So that officials could determine whether the actress “was under the influence” with a sample of her blood.

And that’s not all…

According to reports, police believe Heche was indeed “under the influence of drugs or alcohol.”

Heche committed “at least 2 hit-and-runs” before she drove through a home…

When her car was set ablaze and she faced “significant injuries.”

A representative for the actress told TMZ, that Heche is currently “fighting for her life” in hospital…

As well as being in a critical condition with “pulmonary injuries” in which she requires “mechanical ventilation.”

“Shortly after the accident, Anne Heche became unconscious, slipping into a coma and is in critical condition. She has a significant pulmonary injury requiring mechanical ventilation and burns that require surgical intervention,” concluded the rep.

Heche is currently in a coma and dealing with her significant injuries.

The rep told PEOPLE that “she is in a coma and has not regained consciousness since shortly after the accident.”

And now it has been reported that the woman who was living at the home during the time of Heche’s crash has received more than $100,000 in donations.

This comes after the homeowners, John and Jennifer Durand, set up a GoFundMe page to help Mishele rebuild her destroyed home.

The Durands wrote that it is “distressing” that Mishele lost all her possessions, including her “laptop, Ipad, all her clothes, and household items.”

Sharing pictures of her demolished house, half-burnt family photographs, and destroyed possessions, her neighbors wrote:

“With firefighters’ help, she was able to pull a few damaged sentimental belongings from the wreckage. Everything else is gone.”

As well as helping with donations to rebuild Michele’s life, the Durands also kindly asked if people can support Mishele’s home organization business, which can be found here.

The Durands spoke highly about Mishele and said: “A kind and generous person, Lynne is always first to offer help to others.”

“Today, we are asking the community to come together and help Lynne start over,” they added.
