‘My 600-lb Life’ Star Gina Marie Krasley Dies at 30

Gina Marie Krasley, star of the show My 600-lb Life, has tragically passed away at the age of just 30.

Krasley, who was best known for a 2020 episode of the TLC reality show, died at her home in Tuckerton, New Jersey. She was surrounded by her family at the time of her early death.

In the legendary episode of My 600-lb Life, Krasley revealed that her eating problems began when she was just a child. Krasley said that she coped with physical and verbal abuse from her father by turning to food for comfort. The episode also followed her relationship with her wife Beth and the strain that her health put on the couple’s home life.

After the episode aired, Krasley didn’t fade into obscurity, but maintained her image in the limelight via her social media channels.

Krasley particularly took a shine to TikTok, using the social media platform to share her dancing and choreography videos with others. She even began a trend on TikTok by promoting the idea that “dancing has no size limit,” which invited other plus-size people to feel comfortable dancing in front of other people.

Numerous women shared Krasley’s videos, along with videos of themselves dancing.

But what was Krasley like when the cameras weren’t rolling? Well, she enjoyed spending time with her family. Not doing much. Just enjoying each other’s prescence and company.

Her dream in life was to open up a dance school for children with special needs. As you can tell, dance was a huge passion of Krasley’s, and she wanted to help others feel happy and passionate too.

Tributes have been pouring in for Krasley since her death.

Krasley’s family encourages donations to mental health charities, in Krasley’s honor, and has ask those who attend her funeral to wear purple and pink, Krasley’s favorite colors.

Although at the time of writing, Krasley’s cause of death has not been confirmed, just over a month ago Krasley revealed she was in hospital suffering from a mysterious illness…

Krasley is survived by her wife Beth, mother Cathy Devereux and sister Ali Samuels.
