‘Mythbusters’ Host Grant Imahara Dies Aged 49

MythBusters host, Grant Imahara, has died at the age of forty-nine.

Imahara was perhaps most well known for his time on MythBusters. He joined the team when the show was in its third season remained there until 2014.

Imahara trained as an electrical engineer and roboticist and went on to star in Netflix’s show, White Rabbit Project, wherein he reunited with Byron and Belleci.

“Somedays I wish I had a time machine.”

Another fan wrote: “No doubt, he definitely made the world more interesting, and so much brighter.”

And a representative from Discovery said: “We are heartbroken to hear this sad news about Grant. He was an important part of our Discovery family and a really wonderful man. Our thoughts and prayers go out to his family.” Rest in peace, Grant. As this turbulent year rattles on, let’s take a second to remember those that we have lost.
