It has been reported this week that Naya Rivera's ex-husband and father to her child, Ryan Dorsey, has struck up a close relationship with her 25-year-old model sister.

Now Dorsey has broken his silence on the rumors...

And reports are claiming they are even living together.

Now, most people have instantly jumped to assumptions of romance...

And most are not at all impressed by Nickayala's actions. But there could be an unexpected reason behind their somewhat unexpected living situation...

It's been almost 3 months since the news broke of Naya's tragic death.

The thirty-three-year-old actress was first confirmed as missing when her 4-year-old son, Josey, was found alone on a boat drifting along California's Lake Piru, where the pair had been vacationing, on July 8th.

Just one day before her death, the actress posted this photo.

The post shows a tender moment between her and her son, alongside the caption, "Just the two of us." Her 1.9 million followers immediately praised the sweet mother-son moment, and it only spurred the feeling of desperation further.

As soon as she was reported as missing, divers and helicopters began scouring the reservoir until darkness fell...

But at that point, no trace of Rivera was found.

The search proved to be difficult.

“There’s a lot of challenges in a reservoir this size, at times with visibility," Captain Eric Buschow, of the sheriff’s department, said the day after her disappearance. “I don’t have details yet as to the depth of the area where the boat was found or what conditions they’re encountering out there."

Josey's chilling words upon his rescue were released the next day.

According to TMZ, Rivera’s son had told the authorities that his mom had "jumped into the water but didn't come back up."

This was a devastating development...

And, on the following Monday, her body was discovered. A press conference confirmed that the body, which was found floating in the lake following a 6-day search, was that of Naya Rivera's.

Her autopsy was completed shortly after the discovery.

Officials say she died by drowning. They also said: "There is no indication from the investigation or examination that drugs or alcohol played a role in the decedent’s death, but specimens will be submitted for toxicology testing."

People were devastated by the news.

And friends and former costars of the actress quickly took to Twitter to share their remorse and condolences.

Shortly following from the tragic discovery, Rivera's fellow Glee cast members even joined together at Lake Piru...

To make this photograph even more heartwrenching, the day in which her body was found was the 7th anniversary of the death of Cory Monteith.

Rivera's family also issued a heartfelt statement.

The statement, which was released by Rivera’s rep, Gladys Gonzalez, on behalf of the grieving family, reads: "We are so grateful for the outpouring of love and prayers for Naya, Josey, and our family over the past week."

It continued:

"While we grieve the loss of our beautiful legend, we are blessed to honor her everlasting legacy and magnetic spirit. Naya was an amazing talent, but was an even greater person, mother, daughter, and sister."

In the months following her death, Naya's family has remained relatively under the radar...

But now, there has been a development that none of us were expecting.

As stated earlier, reports have been claiming that Naya's ex-husband, Ryan Dorsey, has moved in with her little sister, Nickayla.

The unexpected claims have surfaced following a number of sightings of the pair spending time together out in public.

Twenty-five-year-old Nickayla was very close to her older sister...

In the wake of her death, she posted a heartfelt tribute on Instagram which read: "Sister. There are no words to describe my love for you. Side by side or miles apart, our connection is infinite. Our bond is unbreakable. We were complete opposites, yet simultaneously the same. The yin to my yang. I never knew that by losing you, I would find so much of you in myself."

And, in her grief...

She has evidently found solace in Ryan, who is also grieving the mother of his child.

It is perfectly natural for people in mourning to find comfort in one another...

But, when the Daily Mail confirmed that the pair had moved into a 3 bedroom rented house together with 4-year-old Josey, suspicions began to rise.

Many people have found the whole set-up to be a little problematic...

However, despite the allegations...

Nickayla has profusely denied that there is anything romantic going on between her and Ryan and that, by moving into a shared house with him, she is simply supporting her nephew.

She wrote this on her Instagram Stories:

"In the darkest time of my life, the only thing that is important is my friends & family. Showing up for my nephew, even though I can't show up for myself. I'm not concerned with the way things look because no one can see each agonizing moment we all endure. What matters most, I've learned, is to show compassion, not to judge others, & never take a moment of life for granted. I hope you can all do the same."

And now Ryan Dorsey had also responded to the allegations.

He's posted an emotional Instagram video on the subject...

He slammed "people who think it's okay to spew hatred."

"Especially when they make statements about a family who are dealing with a tragedy that I hope is so unimaginable that you or anyone that is close to you ever has to go through."

"He's so smart and you know he witnessed a nightmare right before his eyes."

In fact, Josey told Dorsey: "I want Titi [Nickayla] to live with us forever."

She's "the closest thing he has to a mom."

"After all that he's had to go through how could you deny him that? Because of what?"

"What some strangers might think or say, or spew some hatred based on some ill-advised, ill-logical, misinformed tabloid?"

"You don't always have to be alone with your thoughts and you don't have to be sad any day or night wondering when does it get better."

"At least you have someone there with you to talk to or just sit in silence and be sad with."

"You don't have to deal with being completely alone."

"I wish I was worried about a relationship right now."

"Not thinking about this and living with this every day."

"Think twice before they go insert their opinion and jump to conclusions."

"Think about sending people DM's wishing death upon strangers who are dealing with so much that they know absolutely zero about."
