But let me take you back to Monday when it all started...
via: GettyPassers-by in Minneapolis witnessed and filmed 2 police officers "arresting" George Floyd for an alleged forgery incident.
Police found George matching a suspect's description in his car.
via: TwitterEven though he didn't resist arrest, one of the officers got him on the ground and pinned him there by pressing their knee into his neck.
This position was clearly very painful for him...
via: Twitter"Please, please, I can't breathe," George can be heard begging in harrowing footage as the officers remain standing. "My stomach hurts. My neck hurts. Everything hurts," he moans as passers-by begin to gather and repeatedly tell the officer to stop leaning on him.
Multiple witnesses are arguing with the officers when he starts to lose consciousness...
via: Twitter"He's not f****** moving!" one witness shouts as another says, "Get the f*** off him, he isn't moving!" One of the officers responds with, "This is why you don't do drugs, kids."
After around 4 minutes of the officer kneeling on him, George is completely unresponsive.
via: TwitterAn ambulance arrives, the paramedics check his pulse and move his body onto a stretcher - he was later pronounced dead in the hospital.
George was only forty-six-years-old...

The police officers involved have shown absolutely no emotion, regret, or urgency...
via: TwitterAnd a huge amount of backlash has hit the headlines.
Officers have been punished, to some extent.
via: TwitterAnd in total, 4 police officers have been fired following George's death. But many feel that more should be done.
The haunting footage of George's death began circulating online...

When will this violence stop?
via: Getty ImagesAnd when will police officers who have caused his death be properly convicted for their crimes?
Protests have been held in George's memory all around the country...
via: Getty ImagesBut Minneapolis has been restless for almost an entire week now.
The protests started last week and continue to spread across the nation...
via: Getty ImagesThousands upon thousands of protesters took to the streets on Wednesday to express their hurt and their anger at the injustice.
Things very quickly turned violent.
via: Getty ImagesAs thousands of people took to the streets, the police force became involved when shops started getting broken into and police cars were being attacked.
Police officers in riot gear pelted the crowds with tear gas and rubber bullets...And when protestors began fighting back, things turned very ugly and the mass brawl continued into the night.
But things were far from over...
via: Getty ImagesA Minneapolis Police Station was set on fire to mark the third evening of rioting. Thankfully, the station had been evacuated beforehand so nobody was seriously hurt.
The scenes have been truly apocalyptical.

The Mayor of Minneapolis Jacob Frey has been repeatedly addressing the incident, referring to events in the videos as "wrong at every level."
@AttorneyCrump Something is wrong with white cops, they just murder black men like it's hunting season.— Blessed24/7 (@Blessed24/7)1590503025.0
And on the same day, he addressed the person responsible for George's death.
via: Getty ImagesAnd this time, he called for the outright arrest of Derek Chauvin - the officer who is responsible for the death of George Floyd.
The Mayor pointed out that if any normal person had committed this horrific act, they would be in jail right now.
via: Getty Images"Why is the man who killed George Floyd not in jail?" Frey asked during the press conference. "If you had done it or I had done it, we would be behind bars right now, and I cannot come up with a good answer to that question."
And as the protests rage on, it seems as though some people are really taking things too far...
But one white guy messed with the wrong man...
via: Getty ImagesNBA star, J.R. Smith had his vehicle window smashed up by someone claiming he was a "protestor." In the footage posted by TMZ, you can see the basketballer kicking and punching a man who had vandalized his property.
The alleged criminal manages to crawl away in the end...
via: YouTubeBut not after receiving one final kick for the ride home. After the incident, Smith took to his Instagram to tell his followers what happened and why he reacted the way he did.
This is what he said:
via: Getty Images"One of these little motherf****** white boys didn't know where he was going and broke my f****** window on my truck. Broke my s***. This is a residential area. I chased him down and whooped his a**. So when the footage comes out and you see it, I chased him down and whooped his a**. He broke my window."
Many people have defended the NBA star claiming he was just "protecting his property."
via: FacebookOne man wrote "Good, that's what should have happened. You mess with somebody's property, you get your face caved in and your teeth knocked out."
