Just as we were mourning the ending of Season 1, fans have been teased with the news that a one-off Christmas special of The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina will air on December 14th. Aptly named, ‘A Midwinter’s Tale’, Netflix have stated:

The full cast of The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina announcing the Winter Solstice special over on Instagram.

Even Salem is getting in on the Christmas action.

And may all your Christmases be white…

The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina: A Midwinter’s Tale.

Grab your chalice. It’s time to celebrate!

We share in the excitement.

But we’re pretty sure you got it right the first time. Santa definitely had nothing to do with this Christmas present.

Getting into the swing of the Christmas spirit.

Cute outfit Susie – it’s nice to see some Christmas traditions sneaking into this episode. Will it provide us with some light relief in between the spooks and spells of Winter Solstice?

This doesn’t look good…

Whatever is happening here has got us a little worried for Aunt Hilda. But those cookies sure do look delicious. Let’s hope there’s no baking-related Solstice fatalities.

Ambrose is looking rather pensive.

The twinkling fairy lights really add to the intense mood captured in this sneak preview. Could there be some plotting going on from Sabrina’s partner-in-crime?

Mrs. Wardell

We’re hoping this conversation is both festive and cheery… Then again, this is Madam Satan.

Oh Harvey…

Where is your Christmas cheer? This preview has us feeling a little concerned for Harvey.

And we’re not sensing much festivity from Aunt Zelda either…

I’m starting to get the feeling that this episode won’t be channelling much festive-cheer.

Prudence, Sabrina’s resident mean witch.

There isn’t much that’s spookier than seeing Prudence in darkness, surrounded by candle light. What cruel tricks will she be pulling this Winter Solstice?

Ross Lynch aka Harvey is showing his excitement on Twitter.

Ross Lynch tweeted a picture of the cast looking exceptionally cheerful over on Twitter, announcing the one-off episode. Can’t say we blame them – we’re feeling pretty awesome about it too. Twitter is full of love for CAOS right now….

Twitter CAOS love. We don’t want to have to wait for Season 2 either.

Which is why we could not be happier about the upcoming festive-special! Does anyone else feel like Chrismas is coming early this year?

We’re totally fangirling on Aunt Hilda right now – we need her back soon.

If only there was some way to discover my Wiccan side…

We’re also missing Aunt Zelda.

Despite often feeling pretty terrified of this Spellman sister, she can sometimes bring some comedic relief to our screens.

We couldn’t agree more…

I’m already feeling a sense of withdrawal ever since the Season 1 finale.

And who doesn’t love that accompanying emoji?

Did anyone else get ridiculously excited over this? I’ve been tweeting the #CAOS all day just to see this little Salem pop up.

We wholeheartedly agree Harvey.

We’ve been grounded since the end of Season 1.

Love. Patience. Pain.

And I can feel myself totally relating to this. Our pain is about to end though. Thankfully.

As if the festive season wasn’t already exciting enough…

We’re all going to be happy witches come the 14th. Friday nights have never been so exciting.

It’s like all my birthday’s and Christmases have come at once!

I can’t even begin to describe how excited I am. I’m counting down the days – aren’t you?

It’s praising time!

Aunt Zelda is spot on.

And just when I thought I couldn’t love Salem even more.

Every time I try and put cute clothes on my cat, I end up looking like I’ve been caught in a blender. Why can’t he be more like Salem?

I’m still trying to perfect my happy dance.

Unfortunately my stairway isn’t as grand or as roomy

Maybe I need someone else to celebrate with?

Anyone else feel like jumping up and down with me?

Sabrina fans everywhere.

When someone says they like CAOS but you’re trying to act totally normal and like you’re not obsessed with CAOS

Astral Projecting.

Plans whilst waiting for Sabrina to reappear include astral projecting.

Happy dance.

This is why we love Aunt Hilda. We can totally relate right now.

Are you ready for December 14th yet?

We thought as much.
