Marty relocates his family from Chicago to a summer resort community in the Ozarks.

But things get complicated.

Marty is on the run after a money-laundering scheme goes wrong, forcing him to pay off a debt to a Mexican drug lord in order to keep his beloved family safe.

Fans have loved the series.

And it has several lucrative awards and nominations under its belt.

But today, the fandom is feeling all the feels.

Because today, Netflix had a bittersweet announcement.

The new series of Ozark is coming soon!

But, sadly, it’ll be the show’s final season, according to the announcement.

There have been a lot of reactions online to the announcement.

It’s clear fans are going through a lot.

And there’s no doubt that generally, people really don’t want the plug pulled on Ozark.

But we now know that it’ll hit screens on 21 January 2022 for its final season.
