Cardi B is often in the headlines, but this time, it’s for a rather bizarre reason.
This comes after video emerged of a fan throwing their drink at Cardi on stage…
To which she retaliated pretty quickly.
And what she did has divided the internet.
“Good for her. Fans like that need to be banned,” encouraged one fan.
“Good for her. I’d do the same,” defended another.
Whilst another fan disagreed with her actions, writing “Hormonal overload. No way is this an acceptable reaction. I’d sue.”
But now, a video has surfaced that shows what happened to the woman after the microphone was thrown.

Everyone knows who Cardi B is…
Despite being known as a musician, she often speaks in great depth about her style of parenting too.
Cardi B prides herself on her strong relationship with her daughter, and it seems she has put that down to her refusing to hire a nanny to look after her.
She opened up about her decision when Kulture was born, and told Vogue Singapore that it’s something she had previously thought about doing.
And with such a busy life, who can blame her?
“There weren’t a lot of artists out there who had babies at the beginning of their career,” Cardi said. “I didn’t have an album out when I found out I was pregnant.
“Everybody was so nervous for my career and future, but I kept telling them, ‘It’s easy. Trust me, I’m going to have a nanny and she’s going to travel up and down with me. It’s not even going to be a hassle.'”
However, all that changed when she finally gave birth to her daughter back in 2018.
“When the baby got here, I couldn’t even think about getting a nanny because I was afraid of anybody being around her besides my family,” she said, adding: “I’ve never had a nanny for Kulture.”
And despite having a pretty demanding schedule, she has admitted that she tries her best not to ask family members to look after her children.
“Your parents have already lived their life and raised their kids. They are older and don’t have the same energy as someone in their 20s,” she said. “I’m never far from my kids because that’s my responsibility as a mother.”
Cardi explained that she has a lot of “compassion for good mothers who get up and hustle and work, or even not work — having kids is work. Raising a kid is work.”
She also shared in the interview that she has been going through a “very stressful” time recently due to her daughter Kulture and 10-month-old son, Wave Set, being under the weather. She said: “I’ve been up all night and all day with my baby for the past two days — but what can you do, you know?”
However, it appears that not everyone thinks Cardi is a good role model for her kids…
As MMA fighter Jake Shields has called her a “bad example.”
The online battle between Shields and Cardi started last Thursday.
Shields attempted to publicly defend Andrew Tate in a series of tweets on social media.
“People are freaking out about young boys looking up to Andrew Tate but totally fine with young girls looking up to Cardi B and the Kardashians,” he wrote.
Shields continued: “Tate’s main message is stop being lazy and making excuses and go work hard and get in shape and make money. Cardi’s is go do drugs, f*** random men and go through life as a brain-dead Moron.”
Cardi then responded to the Twitter thread…
“I’m married, I don’t smoke weed, I don’t pop pills, I don’t do coke. I’m a mom of 2 kids and I do a lot of charity work … but hey let me put cardi into it to defend a man who defends misogyny and r***,” she wrote.
And it seems Cardi was telling the truth.
In 2020, she donated $1 million towards Coronavirus relief and also funded the purchase of twenty-thousand meals towards frontline workers in New York.
Meta, who owns both Instagram and Facebook, banned Tate’s account for hateful speech.
TikTok also joined the other social media platforms by banning Tate.
A TikTok spokesperson said: “Misogyny is a hateful ideology that is not tolerated on TikTok.”
More recently, the rapper celebrated her thirtieth birthday on Tuesday.
However, one guest, in particular, was denied entry to her birthday party…
And it was none other than Jamie Foxx.
According to TMZ, Foxx was denied entry due to having “too many guests” with him.
The person who turned him down later ran up to Foxx, saying it was okay for him and his party to come in.
At that point, Foxx wasn’t interested in going back in saying “we not good” and that it “was too much” before getting back into his white Rolls-Royce.

The party was attended by a host of stars including Karrueche Tran, Chloe, Halle Bailey, and Daysulan.
While her husband Offset looked dapper in a white suit and red tie to match his wife…
Cardi was spotted wearing an eye-popping red bejeweled corset and a huge carnival headdress as she strolled with confidence to her party.
According to Daily Mail, the singer’s bodysuit displayed her incredible figure and was covered in shiny gems, teamed with sheer gloves and a garter.
She matched red heels and completed her look with a choker, as her feathered headdress fell behind her.

Cardi also hit the headlines yet again for another striking outfit.
And it got her in some legal trouble.
According to UNILAD, Cardi B dressed up as the iconic animated character Marge from The Simpsons for Halloween.
She opted for a 1995 Thierry Mugler black dress instead of her typical green dress.
Her look reportedly included the artwork by an artist aleXsandro Palombo that inspired her.
The artwork was created by aleXsandro Palombo in 2013 as part of his “Marge Simpson Style Icon” series which was first published by Vogue UK.
However, Palombo was not mentioned or tagged.
But Palombo has now spoken out against the rapper and her usage of his work in an Instagram post.
“Cardi B and her collaborators have used my artwork without any authorisation, debasing its original meaning and only to amplify their image with a clear commercial purpose that has nothing to do with that path of social awareness that has always characterised my works,” the artist wrote.
He also claimed he had previously written to Cardi B and her collaborators, stylist Kollin Carter and photographer Jora Frantzis to explain why he hadn’t been contacted for authorization to use his artwork.
“We wrote to Mrs Cardi B and collaborators how come that they never contacted us for authorisation to use the artwork and didn’t mentioned or credit the artist, violating Meta policy about intellectual property rights. Still no answer,” he added.
Palombo’s lawyer, Claudio Volpi, doubled down on the accusations of “appropriation” regarding his client’s artwork
“Cardi B has illegitimately appropriated the work of aleXsandro Palombo for mere business purposes in defiance of the most elementary rules on copyright and Instagram policies, with the consequent serious risks, both of compensation and of discredit for her public image,” Volpi told Artnet News.
The lawyer said that after contacting Frantzis, Carter, and the Atlantic Records publicity team, he only received a response from Frantzis who claimed she wasn’t “aware there was an artist behind this image” and would be “happy to add the credits.”
A strange video of the religious leader kissing a boy and asking him to suck his tongue took over the internet this weekend.
“I saw this video. It’s unacceptable. He’s an adult asking this of a child,” one person wrote.
And Cardi B has spoken out about the clip.
One fan agreed: “The video was really hard to watch. I felt that boy cringe so many times. Not that Cardi B is the voice of reason, but she is right.”
“This world is full of predators. They prey on the innocent. The ones who are most unknowing, our children,” Cardi wrote on Twitter.
“Predators could be our neighbors, our school teachers, even people with money, power & our churches. Constantly talk with your kids about boundaries and what they shouldn’t allow people to do to them.”
“I said protect ya kids from predators?”
“Like do y’all want them to get preyed on or something? PROTECT OUR KIDS and let them know not to let anyone touch their private parts. Don’t let no one kiss them in their mouth. And [tell them to] always feel comfortable letting mommy and daddy know what happens.”
She added: “If you find a problem with that then I’m side-eyeing you.”
But now, she’s hot headlines for very different reasons.
During a recent performance in Las Vegas, Cardi had a drink thrown over her by an audience member.
In retaliation, the rapper quickly launched her microphone straight at the person responsible.
A Twitter user commented about the precision of her microphone throw, saying “Nah, Cardi need to be somebody quarterback, why it land perfectly”.
However, not everyone is impressed with her actions.
“No way is this an acceptable reaction. I’d sue,” one person commented.
“And this who y’all idolize?” questioned another?
And now, a video has emerged that shows what happened to the Wiman after the mic was thrown.
After the mic was launched into the crowd, the video shows the woman in utter shock.
The woman then apologises repeatedly for throwing her drink on stage.
“She looked genuinely sorry and confused like she wasn’t even tryna throw her drink on her,” said one viewer.
