Offset Feeds Voters Waiting in Line in Atlanta

It seems that Offset is super keen for people to be voting in this presidential election…

The polls are currently being counted and more people than ever have voted in the 2020 presidential election.

Which prompted rapper Offset to step in and offer a helping hand.

And there’s no doubting how this small act of kindness has lifted morale in light of the anticipated election.

Back in August, when it was announced that Joe Biden would be going head-to-head with Donald Trump as the official Democratic nominee, we knew this race was going to be filled with ups and downs.

While both sides made the best out of an exceptional situation, the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, they also fell victim to some strange habits, including (but not limited to) name-calling, late-night ramblings, inaccurate tweets and misquotes.

It’s definitely been a wild ride so far.

The Guardian described it as a “national humiliation” watched by global audiences if that’s anything to go by. Rather than discussing the pressing issues that were plaguing the country, the 2 nominees resorted to hurling insults from either side of the podium.

Due to the president’s potentially contagious self, the second debate was forcibly canceled, though the rivals still held their own separate events where they discussed all the topics they couldn’t go into detail about the first time. Public opinion on who performed the best was divided.

Muting the opponent’s mic while someone else was speaking. Who knew such a simple tactic would be so effective? The final debate, which took place in Tennessee, saw both candidates discuss several of the country’s problems, including the coronavirus pandemic, social movements, and climate change.

Well, what else were we really expecting?

Now, we’re mere hours away from closing all the polling stations and rounding up all the votes.

Though this year, things might be a little different.

When it was announced that Wisconsin had voted red and ultimately pushed Donald Trump over the 270 electoral threshold, Hillary Clinton conceded defeat and our new president was announced.

And it looks like it’s going to be a close one!

And according to the Independent, polls showed that Biden and his vice presidential nominee, Kamala Harris, lead the way, being favored amongst sixty-six percent of voters.

Other polls predicted results that opposed each other, some thinking our current president would be re-elected, while others rounded up that we would have a Democrat on the throne.

Who knows which way this one’s going to go, but one thing we know for sure is that you should all vote in this election.

And there’s absolutely no doubt that tensions have been running high all week as American citizens have queued up and cast their vote.

Voters in Atlanta were left feeling happy (and full!) this week after casting their votes.

And that’s for his career as a successful rapper.

For his relationship and marriage to fellow rapper, Cardi B.

Cardi B has made her Democratic opinions very well known after she publicly endorsed Joe Biden.

And this was proven this week when the rapper decided to help out voters in Atlanta by offering out free food and snacks… and people were living for it!

Including in Gwinnett and Fulton counties, with some food trucks from The Slutty Vegan and Big Dave’s – a couple of ATL staples famous for their cheesesteaks.

And he was eager to get people excited and talking about the nail-biting election.

Make sure to stay posted for election updates.
