Netflix is in hot water after over a million people signed a petition to stop a show depicting Jesus as gay.
The show, entitled The First Temptation of Christ, was released on Netflix just last week and is already creating a massively controversial storm online.
Millions have complained and petitioned against it, including none other than the Brazilian president's son.
Keep scrolling to find out more on why people are so aggravated about the show.
Netflix was founded in 1997.
via: JD Lasica / FlickrFounded back in 1997 by Reed Hastings and Marc Randolph, the original idea for the company stemmed from Hastings, apparently, getting a late fine from Blockbuster.
They offered to sell to Blockbuster. After undergoing a little financial trouble early on, Netflix offered Blockbuster the chance to buy them out for $50 million. They refused.
Now Netflix is worth billions.Whereas Blockbuster is worth very little and only has one store still in operation in the world... They should've accepted Netflix's offer.
Netflix has been in hot water a lot.Over the years there have been a plethora of controversies surrounding Netflix. But this next one is causing a serious stir.
The show is about a homosexual Jesus. The show, entitled The First Temptation of Christ, was released on Netflix Brazil on December 3, and immediately caused a commotion.
The Netflix description reads:
Jesus, who's hitting the big 3-0, brings a surprise guest to meet the family. A Christmas special so wrong, it must be from comedians Porta dos Fundos.
The show stars a Brazilian comedy group.
But what's so shocking about it?
But are they just mates?
And over a million people have condemned the show.In a Change.org petition, significantly over a million people. have publicly condemned the show calling it 'blasphemous', 'trash', and 'rude' for portraying Christ as a homosexual in a comedy.
The petition has 1.5 million signatures.
By prohibiting the airing of the back door film of Christmas, which was titled "The First Temptation of Christ." For the removal of the movie from the Netflix catalog and so the Back Door is responsible for the crime of villainy to faith. We also want a public withdrawal due to serious crimes.
Eduardo Bolsonaro condemned the show.

We support freedom of expression, but is it worth attacking the belief of 86 percent of the population?
The same group were in trouble for something similar.
It was a short film titled The Last Hangover. The description for this short film read:
In this biblical Hangover spoof, the apostles awaken to find Jesus is missing and must piece together events of the previous night's wild Last Supper.
However they support their actions.
Porta dos Fundos values artistic freedom and humour through satire on the most diverse cultural themes of our society and believes that freedom of expression is an essential construction for a democratic country.
The show doesn't have much support. To be honest with you, when I turned to Twitter, I expected to find an abundance of people supporting the show, but in fact, there's just even more people condemning it. One person wrote:
So I just saw this on Facebook and Instagram that Netflix have released a film that disrespects ALL members of faith. Jesus being a homosexual, with the devil? Are you kidding me. Where is the respect. “The First Temptation of Christ" &“The Last Hangover" needs to be taken down.
Netflix have crossed the line. Releasing a tv show called “the first temptation of Christ" where Jesus is gay??!A third wrote:
Today my @NetflixUK subscription has been canceled in protest of a "Christmas special" that is extremely offensive to the values, principles and Cristian faith. “The First Temptation of Christ" is not a comedy show, but a cowardly and direct attack on all who profess this faith.
