OnlyFans Mom Says Parents Are Trying To Get Her Kids Out of School | 22 Words

A mom who makes her living from selling explicit content on her OnlyFans account has spoken about her experience with other moms at the school gates.

Here's the full story...

In the past year, OnlyFans has introduced money-making opportunities to millions of people all over the globe.

The social media platform allows content creators to post content and receive payment directly from their followers, or "fans" via subscriptions or one-off tips.

It was initially founded in 2016 by CEO, Timothy Stokely...

And today, there are over 1.1 million content creators using the app, and over 50 million registered users, as per the Influencer Marketing Hub.

However, despite the app's overwhelming success...

It carries with it somewhat of an x-rated reputation.

While this may not be the case for every OnlyFans content creator, it is common knowledge that the app is primarily used for amateur adult content...

Hence the popularity.

OnlyFans has a famously laid-back content policy, which allows creators to share revealing pictures of themselves -- you could consider it a NSFW Instagram-style platform.

A New York Times article in 2019 even claimed that the platform had "changed sex work forever."

For the first time ever, people can make their own money from their own adult content - according to the OnlyFans website, creators receive eighty percent commission on their earnings, while the remaining twenty percent covers "referral payments, payment processing, hosting, support, and all other services."

The twenty-three-year-old Disney actor, Bella Thorne, famously made $1 million in her first hour on OnlyFans.

But, despite the handsome sum of money these content creators can pocket on a daily basis, opinions on the app remain divided.

Many argue that, despite being marketed as a safe and consequence-free way of selling sex, OnlyFans is actually quite the opposite.

As has always been the case with adult entertainment work, many consider it to be a crude, non-legitimate way of earning a living, and the stigma surrounding OnlyFans is no different.

So many men and women have been publically shamed for making an income from the app...

And the latest to do so has opened up about her experience with the stigma.

Forty-four Tiffany Poindexter is a doted mother to 3 boys...

Who just so happens to earn a handsome living from selling "sexy" photos on OnlyFans.

Tiffany initially started her account in 2019 as a way to spice things up with her husband, Chris...

The Northern California native said:

"I felt pretty unsexy when I went through early menopause. One of the things we tried to make our marriage more exciting was posting a picture of me in a bikini on Reddit."

"It was Chris' idea, and it became so popular that all these people started asking for more."

"So we set up an OnlyFans and I just blew up."

Tiffany earned an eyewatering $14,000 in the first month...

So she knew it had to be a permanent thing.

Now, she says she's now one of the most successful OnlyFans models, with her posing in lingerie while doing "regular" activities, such as cooking and cleaning, proving to be hugely popular.

However, in July last year, rumors of Tiffany's new line of work started circulating among the Catholic community in which she lives...

And, as you can imagine, they were far from impressed.

Tiffany had kept her OnlyFans work a firm secret from both her friends and her family.

"We started in September 2019 and no one knew about it. No friends, family or anyone."

But her neighbours and fellow parents from their childrens' school eventually found her OnlyFans profile.

And now, Tiffany claims they call her names, and have even mailed the photos from her account to the school's principal.

She explained:

"Someone came across my account and suddenly I had mums from school texting me and leaving voicemails saying I had to leave the school... Some women from my area actually printed out pictures I posted on my OnlyFans and mailed them to the principal of my children's school."

She continued:

"We were called a load of names; apparently it was 'disturbing, disgusting, horrifying' and 'my children should be kicked out!'"

The school principal reportedly chose not to get involved at the time.

But Tiffany claims she was removed as the second grade "room mother" due to the complaints.

Despite the recent problems, however, the couple continue to work on Tiffany's OnlyFans and their children still attend the school.

On his wife's account, Chris said:

"It's a pretty tame account. I think they have this misconception that she must be making sex tapes but there's nothing like that. I wrote to our school's superintendent about everything we were doing. I told him that it all started as a personal thing between me and my wife."

Saying there is a dedicated group "harassing" them, supposedly out of "boredom" and "jealousy," Chris added:

"There are certain people who just won't leave us alone but 99 percent of people who find out really don't care at all. A lot of people we know just say: you do you guys."

"I reckon most of the husbands have taken a look at Tiffany's account."
