Parents Horrified After Airline Puts Their Baby on Separate Flight to Them

A couple were left shocked after an airline put their baby on a different flight to them.

It all started when Stephanie and Andrew Braham booked a flight back to Australia from Rome…

But were absolutely gobsmacked to learn their 13-month-year-old daughter was “rescheduled” on another flight by Qantas airlines, LADbible reports.

The couple reportedly spent twenty hours trying to get the same flight for their baby.

They claimed they were “put on hold,” across “55 different calls to Qantas’ offshore support centers” as they patiently waited for any sort of help.

However, to their misery, the couple revealed that they “reached an agreement 12 days after” their initial departure…

Which obviously caused havoc to the family’s plans of getting back to Australia without a fuss.

The family who has been “forced” to stay in Rome for another 2 weeks said they “didn’t do anything wrong,” as they had previously booked their baby’s ticket.

And the airline denied any sort of problems.

“We spent 20 hours 47 minutes and 13 seconds on the phone to Qantas over a 24-hour period before and over 55 separate phone calls before they finally agreed to book us on new flights home,” the father of one recalled.

“We’re seething. I’m meant to be home,” he added.

“Hopefully, in 13 days, eventually we will. I don’t think we will really feel assured until we get on that plane and the plane is in the air at this stage,” they said.

In a statement to the Daily Mail Australia, Qantas said they “sincerely apologize.”

And revealed it was a “backend administrative error” between the airline and its partner KLM, who moved the child onto a different flight to theirs.

“We are reaching out to the family to provide support and will provide reimbursement for their accommodation,” a spokesperson later added.Â
