The biggest dog hunt in Hollywood history has finally come to an end.
Heiress, DJ, and socialite, Paris Hilton, has sadly had to put an end to her hunt for her beloved pooch.

The forty-one-year-old has shared that her chihuahua Diamond Baby was “like a daughter” to her, and if you’ve ever seen any of her appearances or social media presences you’ll have seen how much she treasured her pet.
Paris has always made her pets her priority.

After her show, The Simple Life with Nicole Richie aired, the cultural conception of the rich socialite with the tiny dog was fully established in society, spawning thousands of jokes and spoofs.
It’s not just dogs for the major celeb either — recently Paris visited Australia Zoo for a series of promo videos with UberEats Australia alongside the family of the late Steve Irwin.
Diamond Baby has had a better life than most pets would ever dream of.

The six-year-old dog wore a £35,000 ($39,213) diamond-crusted collar, obviously styled after her super stylish owner. Paris’ tiny pooches even have their own house in the backyard of her multi-million dollar home as it features a £280,000 ($313,706) pink life-sized dog house for her dogs.
But sadly for the heiress (and for Diamond Baby), tragedy has struck.

On September 14, while Hilton was temporarily absent from her home at a photo shoot, a workman is believed to have left the side door to her mansion open and Diamond Baby is thought to have escaped. To find her beloved pup Paris hired a pet detective, a dog whisperer, a pet psychic, and even a heat-seeking drone. Her family and friends have been going house to house in the neighborhood to see if anyone has possibly seen the pooch but sadly, despite all their efforts they’ve found nothing.
After spending $10,000 a day for the last eighteen days it looks like the hunt is coming to an end.

Experts are suggesting that poor Diamond Baby has probably been attacked by coyotes who are coming closer into residential areas due to the heatwave in LA affecting their access to food and water.
Paris isn’t yet ready to give up hope on being reunited with her beloved pet soon as the Daily Mail reported that a family friend said: “She’s heartbroken but will never give up on Diamond Baby.”
