The Hollywood Chamber has announced some of the celebrities that will be honored with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in 2023, and the dearly beloved late Paul Walker is one of them.
Fast and Furious star Paul Walker will be awarded the posthumous star on the Walk of Fame, and although only 1 posthumous star is awarded per year, this isn’t the case this year…
As there will be 3 celebrities awarded the star this year.
Paul Walker tragically lost his life to a car crash in 2013.
Since then, people continue to pay tribute to the much-loved actor.
One person even took to Twitter to say that Walker is “always” on their “mind.”
Along with Walker, actress Juanita Moore will be receiving a posthumous star, and so will singer Jenni Rivera, as per Comic Book.
Ludacris, who worked with Walker in the franchise, will also be joining the Walk of Fame next year.
Many others who starred in the franchise already have a star on the walkway.
These names include Vin Deisel, Dwayne Johnson, Kurt Russell, and Charlize Theron.
Announcing the news, the chair of the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce Walk of Fame selection panel, Ellen K, said: “The panel thoughtfully selected these talented individuals, and we can’t wait to celebrate them as they become part of Hollywood’s history with the unveiling of their star on the world’s most famous walkway.”
Walker definitely deserves his star.
