After the backlash surrounding Gina Carano's controversial posts on social media, people including Donald Trump Jr. have called for Pedro Pascal to be fired from The Mandalorian.
And now Gina Carano has also spoken out against the star, and she didn't hold back...
Disney and LucasFilm recently announced that they were parting ways withThe Mandalorian actor Gina Carano following her controversial social media posts.
A decision that some were not happy about.
And now, in the wake of her firing, a number of conservatives are calling for Pedro Pascal to also be fired for a social media post shared back in 2018.
With Donald Trump Jr. suggesting that firing Carano but not Pascal is "sexist."
And now Carano herself has spoken out...
The controversial star has been known to not hold back - and this story is no exception.
She's had parts in some major blockbusters...
Including Fast and Furious 6, Deadpool, and Haywire.
Her most notable role was in The Mandalorian.
Her fame skyrocketed when she took on the role of Cara Dune.
The series is set 5 years after the events of Return of the Jedi.

Directed by Bryce Dallas Howard, best known for playing Claire Dearing in Jurassic World, The Mandalorian offers Star Wars fans a tantalizing new live-action spin-off of the beloved franchise. However, the show's success might have been tarnished by Gina Carano's latest antics.
Things have gotten pretty heated on social media lately, given the fact the actress was posting some pretty controversial stuff on her profiles.
Calls for her to be fired started pretty early on.
She didn't set herself up well when she shared conspiracy-focused memes and tweets from her account.
Not only that, but she also liked posts disparaging Black Lives Matter...
We need to clean up the election process so we are not left feeling the way we do today.

Put laws in place that protect us against voter fraud.
Investigate every state.
Film the counting.
Flush out the fake votes.
Require ID.
Make Voter Fraud end in 2020.
Fix the system. 🇺🇸
And the use of the correct pronouns.
And it didn't stop there...
From ridiculing mask mandates, to emphasizing (without hard proof) that there was "voter fraud" going on at the elections, Carano really managed to ruffle more than a few feathers.
Her latest stunt on Instagram also saw her comparing being a republican to being a "Jew during the Holocaust..."
Problematic isn't even the word for disgusting comparisons such as this one.
Things got so bad that a spokesperson for Lucasfilm spoke out to let people know that the actress is no longer employed by them.
Things have gone from bad to worse for the actress.
In a statement obtained by io9, a spokesperson outlined their company's views on the matter, saying this:
"Gina Carano is not currently employed by Lucasfilm and there are no plans for her to be in the future."
They continued:
"Nevertheless, her social media posts denigrating people based on their cultural and religious identities are abhorrent and unacceptable."
After all the controversy, the news of her being disowned by the company was actually very well received by most fans.
Gina Carano getting fired from the mandalorian a day after Pedro Pascal shows love and support for his trans sibling is the fix I needed to relax this week.

But not all...
Some conservatives thought the outcome was unfair and so began calling for people to boycott Disney+.
Canceled my Disney+ subscription and will be pirating The Mandalorian in the future. :-) Wildly unfair what’s happening to Gina Carano.

I stand by @ginacarano! What's being done to her is unfair and un-American. I'm sick and tired of "Cancel Culture" trying to destroy people's careers because they have a different opinion or support another political party. If you want to cancel anything, #CancelDisneyPlus.

@ginacarano was fired from Lucas films and I think it's unfair. Like if we gunna fire people for saying stupid things... Soon no one will have a job#disney

A number of prominent conservatives including Donald Trump Jr. are even calling for Pedro Pascal to be fired from the show.
With Trump Jr. claiming that Lucasfilm's decision to part ways with Carano but not Pascal is "sexist."
The calls for Pascal's sacking came because of a social media post shared by Pascal back in 2018.

The post compared detained migrant children in the US to Jewish children in Nazi Germany which they claim is the same as what Carano did.
Steven Crowder tweeted asking: "Hey @disneyplus, isn't this a 'social media post denigrating people based on their cultural and religious identities' and isn't it 'abhorrent and unacceptable'"?

While Trump Jr. wrote: "So @Disney/@disneyplus is fine doing biz w/ a country that routinely jails & murders dissidents in cold blood, but @ginacarano basically using the same analogy that her Star Wars co-star @PedroPascal1 used is a bridge too far for them? Seems sexist & not very woke to me!"
Adding in a separate tweet: "Same Movie as @ginacarano, same analogy, though the pic has the wrong date... I'm told it was 2010 under Obama/Biden. So does @Disney discriminate against women for doing what their male actors do or is is only discrimination against conservatives?"

And now Gina Carano has offered her opinion, too ...
In an interview with Ben Shapiro, she called Pascal out.
"I know he's said and done some hurtful things. I don't think that posting anybody's number on social media, is okay."
She was referring to this post Pascal made about Ted Cruz.
Ted Cruz’s phone number to share your thoughts: 512- 916-5834
— Pedro Pascal he/him (@PedroPascal1) January 9, 2021
But as Cruz's office phone number is in the public domain anyway, many believe Carano is taking Pascal's Tweet out of context.
