Australia’s charm is in its iconic landmarks, like the famous Sydney Opera House for instance…

Certainly, everyone has seen this photograph of the Opera House on a postcard at some point in their lifetime. But it’s the chicken parmigiana which everyone bangs on about when they visit Australia.

And well, if you haven’t heard of it, it’s a classic Aussie chicken dish, which has taken inspiration from Italian and American cooking

Apparently, it’s a staple offering at many pub menus in the country — we bet you didn’t know that!

However, travelers often visit the country for its beautiful serene scenery…

And of course a vast range of water sports too.

Like snorkeling in the Great Barrier Reef…

And you don’t want to miss out on the next activity…

Perhaps watching the sunset at Uluru.

According to Nomadasaurus, Uluru is also called Ayer’s Rock, which is the world’s largest monolith, meaning it is the biggest chunk of stone known to man.

But it gets crazier…

You can even search for pearls in the ocean…

Broome is a beautiful beach town in Western Australia, located on a peninsula that juts out into the Indian Ocean, and it’s here you can take a boat ride and learn about the pearling industry.

Sounds pretty awesome, right?

You can also visit Brisbane, which is one of Australia’s oldest cities…

To get in some history on the Australian sightseeing tour.

Or take a trip to Kakadu National Park which has a massive nature reserve full of gorgeous sights and fun activities.

But the only downfall of visiting this splendid country is the time it takes to get there initially.

New York to Sydney clocks in at around twenty-two hours and roughly twenty-four hours to Melbourne.

And according to UNILAD, the UK fits into the USA more than forty times over.

So it definitely would not be a surprise to work out how big Australia is…

Well, one Youtuber Noel Phillips decided to take a flight to the country back in April.

He even observed some “nice views out of the window.”

“The Logan Air flight isn’t exactly straightforward, mind, and there are stops along the way as the plane has to refuel twice just to manage the journey.

“The first leg of the flight takes passengers up to Manchester and then up to Aberdeen, before finally landing in Sumburgh,” he said.

“The ATR 72-600 is so quiet for a turboprop plane. I mean, obviously, you can hear the propellers but it’s no noisier than, like, a jet aircraft that you get on the same sort of route. It might even be a bit quieter,” he added.

But now, an image published by Total Nerd, calculates the distance between London and Moscow, which shows that it is nearly 1,000 miles less than the distance from one side of Australia to the other.

So, the length of Perth to Sydney is a colossal 2,444.5 miles, while London and Moscow are 1,795.6 miles apart.

Flying between the 2 cities takes around 3 and a half hours…

While a domestic flight from one side of Australia to the other takes about 5 hours.

People have reacted to the post in their own way…

“I once drove for four days and never left Queensland,” wrote one user.

And the comments kept on flooding in…

“I have done that drive and can confirm it’s carnage,” another added.

The longest flight in the UK takes approximately 5 hours…

And it takes you from Newquay in Cornwall all the way up to Sumburgh on the Shetland Islands, UNILAD reports.
