In light of the ongoing presidential election, a Ben Shapiro Tweet has gone viral, and people are all pointing out the same thing...
The presidential election has descended into chaos.
via: Getty ImagesWith a record number of voters, it has certianly been one of the most divisive elections, and with a result still looming, tensions are continuing to rise across the country.
We are now 2 days after the election...
via: Getty ImagesAnd the race for White House is narrowing while counting continues, though the result is still too close to call.
The election has seen Joe Biden receive more votes than any other presidential candidate in history.
via: Getty ImagesThe previous record was held by the former president of the United States, Barack Obama.
But, matters were ramped up when Trump declared a false victory on election night.
via: Getty ImagesDespite there being no indication as to who would take over the White House, Donald Trump announced that he had won the election. This was a false statement on behalf of the president, who was condemned by the Biden campaign and several Republicans who referred to the claim as “outrageous."
Shortly after, the Biden campaign responded to Trump's false claims.

The statement continued.
via: Getty Images"It was unprecedented because never before in our history has a president of the United States sought to strip Americans of their voice in a national election. Having encouraged Republican efforts in multiple states to prevent the legal counting of these ballots before Election Day, now Donald Trump is saying these ballots can’t be counted after Election Day either. “And it was incorrect because it will not happen. The counting will not stop. It will continue until every duly cast vote is counted. Because that is what our laws — the laws that protect every Americans’ constitutional right to vote — require. “We repeat what the Vice President said tonight: Donald Trump does not decide the outcome of this election. Joe Biden does not decide the outcome of this election. The American people decide the outcome of this election. And the democratic process must and will continue until its conclusion."
However, the president went on to make a controversial speech, accusing the electoral system of being fraudulent, demanding votes stop being counted.
via: Getty ImagesAccording to CNN, this was an “attack" on democracy. White House reporter, Stephen Collinson, analyzed the remarks and concluded: “Trump’s remarks essentially amounted to a demand for the legally cast votes of American citizens not to be recorded in a historic act of disenfranchisement. And they brought closer the potential constitutional nightmare that many have feared since Trump started to tarnish an election that he apparently worried he could lose months ago."
The Trump campaign later announced that would be filing for a recount in Wisconsin.
via: Getty ImagesBill Stepien, the campaign manager released this statement: “There have been reports of irregularities in several Wisconsin counties which raise serious doubts about the validity of the results. The president is well within the threshold to request a recount and we will immediately do so." However, it is important to note that there has still not been any evidence of voter fraud.
As the chaos continues, key battleground states are yet to be announced.

And, in light of Trump's comments, protestors have even taken to the streets to demand that counting stop.
via: Getty ImagesFor instance, crowds of pro-Trump protestors have taken to the Detroit counting center chanting “stop the vote." Security guards had refused entry to any more poll watchers attempting to access the counting room, causing Republican supporters to claim that being denied access meant the people inside were disproportionately Democratic, but others in the group noticed Democrats had been kept out as well.
Amid concerns, aviation authorities have gone as far as to designate "national defense airspace" over Biden's current location.

As votes continue to be counted, despite the president's clear stance on the matter, Trump has been updating his Twitter with messages echoing his previous speech.Trump raised speculation on election credibility in one of his tweets, claiming that things had taken a “strange" turn after he was leading on 4th November when the early figures showed he was leading in almost all battleground and swing states, even though many journalists and political advisors have claimed that there is no evidence of voter fraud in any state.
The president has even accused the Democrats of trying to "steal" the election in another Twitter rant.“We are up BIG, but they are trying to STEAL the Election," he writes. “We will never let them do it. Votes cannot be cast after the Polls are closed!"
In fact, his tweets have caused so much of a stir that Twitter made the decision to restrict them. With the label “Some or all of the content shared in this Tweet is disputed and might be misleading about an election or other civic process."
He made his view on mail-in-ballots very clear in this tweet...Safe to say, he raised a few eyebrows.
Ben Shapiro offered a response to Trump's desire to stop vote counting.

Normally, Shapiro falls on the far right of politics.
via: Getty ImagesHe's often trying to "own the libs" on Twitter.
But in response to Trump's bizarre Twitter rant...
