In the scene, fans got to witness Tatiana Maslany replicating the opening of the vintage show as she transforms into the Green Goliath after hurting herself while changing a tire.

For authenticity, rather than using CGI, as is done with many of the shots throughout the first season, She-Hulk was actually played by an influencer and a pro bodybuilder…

Named Devon Lewis who is a man.

The behind-the-scenes footage that was shared showed him in full green garb as he gave his best She-Hulk snarl.

Prior to this shot, he explained: “It’s funny, I’ve been seeing people post this She-Hulk TikTok video but a lot of people still haven’t realized that She-Hulk was played by a man.”

He also posted a couple of BTS shots which showed him covered head to toe in green paint alongside a wig.

“Yes motherf**kers, that’s me,” he said.

“The body of She-Hulk will never get any recognition but I was grateful to do it,” he added.

Fans went crazy and praised Lewis, with one writing: “I told my nephews that when it came out, so I had to show them the TikTok and they were like wow… so thank you for being the representation for POC.”

Another said: “I was so hyped when you first posted it and now every time I watch I’m like I know that body!!”
