The episode in question is titled ‘Families.’
One of Peppa’s friends was introducing her to her parents, whilst drawing a painting.
“I live with my mummy and my other mummy. One mummy is a doctor and one mummy cooks spaghetti,” she said.
This was the first time a lesbian couple was featured in the children’s TV show.
Peppa Pig has been accused of reinforcing gender stereotypes in the past, so its viewers have welcomed the news that producers are having a rethink.
