TikTok is an incredible internet platform, though it’s not without its controversies. But now Perez Hilton has been banned – and his response has left the internet feeling pretty baffled…

The internet celebrity is known for courting controversy.

After being banned from Tiktok, he posted a bizarrely emotional video – and the internet doesn’t know what to think.

It’s pretty unlikely that you’ll see a teenager who isn’t obsessed with the social media platform.

The majority of us adults admittedly are too.

People can actually earn a living through social media, from selling things on Instagram to starting a business through Twitter.

But there are some apps that aren’t so productive…

And TikTok is one of them!

Basically, it is an iOS and Android app made for creating and sharing short lip-sync, comedy, and talent videos.

It went viral pretty quickly

It was the world’s 4th most downloaded app in 2018, beating Instagram and Snapchat – which is a pretty big achievement!

Who else remembers Vine?

And it has to be said, the majority of them are rather entertaining.

Animals and TikTok are the best combination.

More and more people jumped on board the TikTok bandwagon and started getting their beloved pets involved.

People began getting more and more creative, including autotuning this kitty’s annoyed yowls.

Some are just plain weird

It’s a mystery as to what goes through people’s heads when these types of TikTok videos are made.

Maybe TikTok is just a space for weird videos.

But some people still cannot get their heads around it!

Perez Hilton has been banned from the app – and his response has the internet feeling pretty confused…

“The reason that TikTok gave me for permanently banning my account without any warning is ‘multiple community guidelines violations’.”

“I am feeling numb, and I don’t want to seem overly dramatic, but I feel like my world is crumbling.”

“I have not done anything that’s harassing or bullying, and TikTok is claiming that I am, just by sharing news and sharing my opinion.”

“Please, Charli D’Amelio, please message me back on Instagram. Please. Please help me. I know you don’t owe me that, but I beg of you. I beg of you. I grovel, I beg.”
