Now, this latest news comes at a very difficult time for Trump, who we are all aware hasn’t handled his election defeat too well.
From the moment Biden was confirmed as the winner on November 7th, Trump went on a Twitter rampage — spreading lies about how the election was “stolen” from him and how Biden was nothing but a fraud.
Trump’s behavior online began to escalate to dangerous levels…
And the lies he was spreading to his followers ultimately caused the shocking scenes in Washington on January 6th, 2021.
After holding a “Save America” rally just a few miles away from the prestigious Capitol building, Trump encouraged his supporters to “take the election back” and “fight like hell”…
Which lead to thousands of them storming the Capitol and unleashing true havoc.
5 people, including 1 police officer, died on that day including hundreds of others being seriously injured.
People from all around the world were horrified by the violent scenes…
And thousands began calling on Trump to intervene and to tell his followers to back down… Which, of course, he refused to do along with refusing to take responsibility for the actions of the rioters.
This resulted in him being removed from Twitter and all other social media platforms for “inciting violence”…
And ever since, Trump has been painfully absent from all forms of social media.
Of course, we all know how much Trump loved running his mouth via social media…
So we can’t imagine how much of a kick in the teeth this must have been for him.
The seventy-five-year-old was clearly in a huge sulk over his social media dismissal…
And when the day of Biden’s inauguration arrived, Trump wasn’t present – making him the first U.S president in decades to not attend the inauguration of his successor.
Now, although Trump is no longer the president, there are still some people that believe he should be.
Including Trump himself…
Trump is not giving up on the prospect of becoming president again as he has promised to return to The White House.
But not a lot of people are backing him.
Trump promised to return to The White House while at the American Freedom Tour in Florida.
According to Business Insider, Trump claimed at the rally that he will take “back the House” and the Senate.
Addressing a crowd at the rally he said: “With the support of everyone in this room, we will take back the House, we will take back the Senate and we will take back our country, and then most importantly in 2024, we are going to take back our beautiful White House.”
“You had a president that always put America first. I will be back and we will be better and stronger than ever before.”
Trump reportedly also went on to, once again, falsely claim that he won the 2020 presidential election.
“We won twice,” he said. “We did much better the second time, and we may have to do it again.”
Despite gaining popularity for being a rambunctious political tyrant…
Trump hasn’t always been interested in politics, and he actually started out as a businessman and media personality.
He became president of his father’s real estate business in 1971, which later became The Trump Organization.
Just 5 years later, he met his first wife Ivana Trump in New York City while the model was visiting for a fashion show.
They hit it off instantly, and Ivana shared more about their meeting and subsequent dating to the New York Post in 2016…
She revealed that she and her friends were at a bar, waiting for a table on the Upper East Side when he came over.
“[There’s] this tall blond guy with blue eyes. He said: ‘I’m Donald Trump and I see you’re looking for a table. I can help you.’ I look at my friends and said: ‘The good news is, we’re going to get a table real fast. The bad news is, this guy is going to be sitting with us,’” she recalled.
He ended up paying their bill and after finishing her meal, Ivana left only to see Trump sitting in the “driver’s seat of his own limousine.” She shared that “he drove us home and then we started to date.”
It was a whirlwind romance and less than a year later they tied the knot.
Ivana Trump married Donald Trump in 1977.
The pair’s split was finalized in 1992, after Donald Trump’s affair with Marla Maples was made public.
Together, they raised 3 children: Donald Jr., Ivanka, and Eric.
And she became a tenacious businesswoman, developing her own lines of jewelry, clothing, and beauty products.
Their relationship, like all relationships, had its ups and downs, and the pair eventually went their separate ways, although they have remained close friends.
So the recent news of her passing has hit Trump and their children very hard.
The Trump family made the announcement.
“I am very saddened to inform all of those that loved her, of which there were many, that Ivana Trump has passed away at her home in New York City,” Donald Trump said.
“She was a wonderful, beautiful, and amazing woman, who led a great and inspirational life. Her pride and joy were her three children, Donald Jr., Ivanka, and Eric.”
“She was so proud of them as we were all so proud of her. Rest In Peace, Ivana.”
Ivanka Trump also posted a tribute to her mother on Instagram…
“Heartbroken by the passing of my mother. Mom was brilliant, charming, passionate and wickedly funny. She modeled strength, tenacity, and determination in her every action,” she wrote.
“She lived life to the fullest — never forgoing an opportunity to laugh and dance,” she added. “I will miss her forever and will keep her memory alive in our hearts always.”
Ivana was found “unconscious and unresponsive” in her home by a member of staff.
She was allegedly found lying at the bottom of the stairs in her Manhattan townhouse just hours before she was due for a hair appointment.
Investigators at the scene have suggested that she could have fallen, which might have been the result of a “medical episode.”
An official cause of death announced her death as an “accident.”
And now, rumors may be true…
A chief medical examiner confirmed that Ivana died with “blunt impact injuries.”
With the news of Ivana’s passing, tributes have been pouring from her close friends and family…
The 73-year-old’s long-term friend Zach Erdem described her as an “angel.”
“She was always supporting charities and everything. She was like an angel.
“Whoever needed help, she would be there. She didn’t care about any politics or religion or whatever, she was ready to help whoever needed it,” he said.
The ex-Hamptons server also revealed that “she was like a mother” to him because of her “kind nature.”
And that’s not all…
He said she “never stopped rooting for him.”
“‘I want you to be more successful. I know how hard you work. I know where you came from,’ which was really cool when someone knows you and gives you credit,” he revealed.
“She knew that I was a busboy. She knew that I didn’t speak English when I was a busboy,” he recalled.
So it wasn’t a surprise when the Trump family asked funeral guests to “donate to Big Dog Ranch Rescue instead, a Florida-based charity close to her heart.”
“Ivana was philanthropically involved with many charities throughout her entire life, but always remained steadfast and passionate in her love for animals.
“In lieu of flowers, we kindly ask you to support Ivana in her mission to help dogs and donate to Big Dog Rescue Ranch,” the donation page reads.
Since then, Ivana’s best friend has spoken out about her “accidental death.”
And said, “she saw it coming.”
In an interview with the New York Post, Nikki Haskell opened up about how she felt about Ivana…
And admitted that she was “worried” for her best friend.
Haskell was worried that Ivana might slip on what she called the beautiful but “treacherous” staircase at her Manhattan home.
She also revealed how poorly the staircase was designed.
“I was always so upset about that staircase,” Haskell confessed.
“I hated those stairs. They were so treacherous. We worried about her falling,” she added.
Haskell also revealed that Ivana’s townhouse was “4 stories high” and while there was an elevator…
Ivana never used it.
“It’s a beautiful staircase but I wouldn’t want it. It’s so steep and deep. Friends used to say to me, ‘Why don’t you stay with Ivana when you’re in New York?’
“But you couldn’t pay me to hang out there and go up and down those stairs,” she said.
But Haskell wasn’t the only one worried about the stairs…
Erdem also spoke about how Ivana told him to “slow down” when going down those stairs with him.
And described the staircase as being “tight,” according to reports.
He recalled how Ivana said she’s “not a 20-year-old anymore,” going down the staircase — instructing him to slow down, while he took her down the stairs.
And now, her funeral has grabbed the limelight…
Former President Donald Trump’s youngest son is not known to everyone…
As he’s rarely ever made an official appearance in public until now.
Ahead of the funeral at a Manhattan church, Trump paid tribute to his ex-wife and said she lived a “beautiful life.”
The ceremony was attended by “all of his children and an array of other relatives and friends,” Metro reports.
Ivanka Trump also spoke at her mother’s funeral about how the late businesswoman and said she “taught her everything she knows.”
“Growing up, my mother didn’t tell me a woman could do anything she wanted to – she showed me. She was a trailblazer by men and women alike,” she said.
And it was someone else who caught the attention of the paparazzi as well.
Former first lady Melania’s 16-year-old son was also spotted heading to St. Vincent Ferrer Roman Catholic Church…
Which was a few blocks from Ivana’s home near Central Park, New York.
According to reports, Barron is said to be “between 6ft 2 and 6 ft 7.”
While people were surprised to see the teen alongside his parents, Trump’s 3 other children also stood with their father to bid goodbye to their mother Ivana.
Rest in peace, Ivana Trump.
