Irene Bedard, an actress perhaps best known for her role in the classic Disney movie, Pocahontas, has been arrested twice in a shocking couple of days.

Here's the full story...

Bedard was born in Anchorage, Alaska, in 1967.

She's one of the most prolific Native American actresses of the past few decades.

She is well known for the role of Suzy Song in the 1998 film, Smoke Signals.

And perhaps her most famous role is that of Pocahontas in the 1995 Disney movie of the same name.

She provided the speaking voice for the role...

Alongside being the model the animated character was based on.

But, behind the scenes, Bedard has had a rather troubled personal life.

Her ex-husband Denny Wilson is alleged to have sexually, physically, and economically abused Bedard throughout their marriage.

And it seems toruble is still following Bedard.

After a worrying couple of days that has got the internet feeling concerned ...

This week, police were called to her exes house in Beavercreek, Ohio.

Responding to a domestic violence call, they reportedly arrived to find Bedard with a belt in her hand.

She allegedly told the officers: "Look, they sent the white man to come get me!"

Reports also state she was visibly inebriated.

She was charged with domestic violence, assault, and resisting arrest.

Bedard posted bond, but her troubles weren't over.

A few days later, police were called on Bedard again.

She was standing at a hotel task, allegedly harassing the clerk.

Bedard again apparently inebriated...

And was combative with the officer sent to deal with the situation.

She reportedly charged the police officer and had to be restrained...

And was once more booked with disorderly conduct.

We really hope she gets the help she clearly needs.

And that this will be the last time she's in a police car.
