And imagine, after finally deciding on a place and signing the contract, you discover something unbelievable...

That the property is not as great as it was made out to be.

The quality of one particular property in London has left people shocked as it did not match the asking price... at all.

And of course, upon having a look inside, people were appalled...

The house was put onto the market by Marlowe Estates for a whopping $778,000.

But would you pay almost a million dollars for a house that doesn't look like it's been touched in years?

According to the official description, this build is a "sleeping beauty."

via: Marlowe Estates

Sleeping? Agreed. Beauty? Not so much.

They have also noted that it will need a "full refurbishment."

But for 780,000 dollars, you would expect it to be more or less completed. But everything from the living room to all 3 bedrooms will need ripping apart and replaced.

Even the bathroom doesn't look like it could have any potential if I'm being completely honest.

I'll let you have a look for yourselves...

When you step into the house, you're greeted with this state...

The first room looks like it hasn't seen life in many years.

Some might say the furniture is vintage, I like to call it outdated.

via: Marlowe Estates

As per the description, this is an old-style "unmodernized, 1930s built house." Yeah, we can tell.

The kitchen is like a blast from the past with the lay-out and the applications.

And even though it might be situated in a decent location... Is it worth splashing another half a million dollars to renovate it?

via: Marlowe Estates

Some people have claimed it has "character." I guess you could say that...

via: Marlowe Estates

But it's currently unlivable, so it will definitely be a hassle.

Even the garden, despite it being a good size, will need a lot of attention.

If I was looking for a house, I'd save myself a couple of bucks and look elsewhere.
