Prince George Got So Upset Watching TV That William Had To Turn It off

Prince George has a strong reaction to a certain documentary on TV, and it’s not hard to see why…

Well, who doesn’t?

Speaking at the launch, the Earthshot Prize, Prince William revealed Prince George had a very strong reaction to one program in particular.

And, after viewing footage from the documentary in question, it’s not hard to see why George had such a strong reaction.

Yes, even more famous than our beloved Kardashians.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, or William and Kate, as we know them best, are the firm favorites of the younger, more modern monarchy.

Following their lavish, and highly documented royal wedding in 2011, Wills and Kate were thrown into the media spotlight, and we still can’t get enough of them.

William, who is the son of Prince Charles and in line for the throne, met Kate at the University of St Andrew’s in Scotland in 2001.

They clearly couldn’t stay away from each other, and their engagement was announced in 2010, 9 years after they first met.

In July 2013, Prince George Alexander Louis of Cambridge was born, becoming the third in line to the throne of Great Britain. Kate emerged from St. Mary’s hospital in London in a blue polka dot dress, which many saw as a fitting tribute to Princess Diana, who wore a similar spotty attire herself some thirty-one years earlier.

Princess Charlotte Elizabeth Diana was born in May 2015, just under 2 years after her older brother.

Princess Charlotte became the first female royal to retain her claim to the throne, despite having a younger brother. Before the Succession to the Crown Act 2013, the birth of a son meant that he would leap over any older daughters in the line of succession.

But, now that Princess Charlotte hasn’t been ruled out by gender, Prince Louis remains fifth-in-line to the throne, while Charlotte is fourth-in-line behind her older brother, Prince George.

William and Kate really are paving the path to a more modern monarchy.

I mean we all remember the iconic pictures of Kate in her student fashion show.

Since becoming the Duchess, Kate’s style has evolved into something unparalleled.

As the adorable princes and princess clearly get their style from their parents. In fact, they look identical…

Prince George and Prince William could literally be the same person!

This is quite simply one of the sweetest things we’ve seen.

And their kids are growing up fast!

And that’s thanks in no small part to the slew of popular documentaries from David Attenborough.

And even featured in an adorable video asking the naturalist some questions about animals and extinction.

… Prince George.

The 7-year-old recently sat down with his family to watch Attenborough’s latest BBC documentary, Extinction: The Facts.

Speaking at the launch of the Earthshot Prize, Prince William spoke about watching the documentary with George. “Having watched so many David Attenborough documentaries recently with my children, they absolutely love them, the most recent one—the extinction one—actually George and I had to turn it off, we got so sad about it halfway through,” William said, as per Sky News reports.

“He said to me, ‘You know, I don’t want to watch this anymore.'”

“[George asked]’Why has it come to this?’ And you know, he’s 7-years-old and he’s asking me these questions already. He really feels it, and I think 7-seven-year-old out there can relate to that.”

“I really feel from an emotional point of view as well, I think every parent, everyone wants to do the best for their children, and I think we have to have a decade of change, a decade of repairing the planet so that we can hand it on to the next generation and future generations and sustain the prosperity for their lives too.”

Launched last week, William’s £50 million (around $65 million) Earthshot Prize initiative will see 5 prizes of £1 million each awarded every ($1, 304,295) year for the next decade, to people and entities creating positive environmental change.
