Last week, it was revealed that Prince Harry has now changed his full name, with many wondering what the Queen will think of this...

Without a doubt, Meghan Markle has made her mark on British history.

Since she started dating Prince Harry back in 2016, the world has become completely obsessed with the former actress.

Since the wedding, Meghan has taken part in many royal tours and visits all around the world.

Naturally, the world fell in love with the new duchess...

Her beautiful looks and elegant demeanor captured hearts all around the world, and her work for feminism and women's charities has set an excellent example within the royal family.

Cracks began to show early, however...

Meghan was quickly criticized upon her entrance into the royal family, and not all complaints were because she "wasn't royal enough."

Meghan has also been branded a "diva" since she became royalty.

Reports came through that Meghan was extremely high-maintenance in the palace and servers who worked for her had reportedly even quit their jobs due to her behavior. Of course, none of these reports are reliable, but they certainly made their way through newspapers around the world.

Even Meghan and Harry's habit of flying in private jets caused a stir in the media...

Amid current conversations about climate change, many people have noticed that the couple often use a private jet to fly from one part of England to the other, an extremely wasteful method of travel that will ultimately damage the environment. But, of course, Meghan was the one who faced most of the heat for this. The couple also recently made £2.4 million refurbishments to their Windsor home, Frogmore Cottage, which British taxpayers were not happy about - this was obviously all Meghan's fault too *eye roll*.

Meghan's parenting style was also criticized...

She was repeatedly mom-shamed after paparazzi snaps emerged of her awkwardly holding baby Archie - a struggle that any new mom can totally relate to. Shaming a new parent is completely uncalled for, and this made it very obvious that the press were desperate to stir hate.

Meghan opened up about the reality of living under the glare of the media spotlight...

When asked how long she can manage the constant onslaught of attention, lack of privacy and ongoing tabloid rumors, Meghan revealed she just takes “each day as it comes," adding, “I think the grass is always greener. You have no idea. It’s really hard to understand what it’s like. I know what it seems like it should be, but it’s a very different thing."

The former Duchess looked to be holding back the tears.

“I really tried to adopt this British sensibility of a ‘stiff upper lip.’ I really tried, but I think that what that does internally is probably really damaging," she explained.

It seems that things had well and truly got on top of the couple...

As in January, the royal couple announced via their joint Instagram page that they were stepping down as senior members of the royal family. "After many months of reflection and internal discussions, we have chosen to make a transition this year in starting to carve out a progressive new role within this institution. We intend to step back as ‘senior’ members of the Royal Family and work to become financially independent while continuing to fully support Her Majesty The Queen," the post read.

Of course, the couple now has complete freedom in what they want to do with their lives...

And while Harry will always remain loyal to his family, Meghan can now pursue other ventures outside of royal protocol.

But no one expected this to happen...

After officially leaving the royal family, the pair are said to be “taking a few months off" one expert has said.

The couple stepped down from their royal roles last month.

This means they have finally given up their titles and all public funding in the process.

They have even upped sticks from their rented mansion in Vancouver, Canada.

Moving across the border with their son Archie, to Los Angeles, California.

It has been reported that the couple is looking for work, and hope to find their forever home.

In the same place Princess Diana planned to move to just months before her death.

Meghan also announced that she'd bagged her first job...

Narrating a Disney+ documentary about elephants.

The couple were expected to announce their next charity venture and future plans right about now.

Instead, they are going to take a “few months off" because they “need a break", a royal expert said.

Omid Scobie spoke about the strange move on the podcast, The Heir Pod.

Saying: "It is interesting because we had such a build-up since January to the departure of Meghan and Harry stepping back as senior working royals. Suddenly on March 31 it sort of crept up on us really quickly, we had the couple announcing the beginning of their transition period over the next year on Instagram. At the same time, they were announcing that they are closing down their social media and their website and taking a break for the next few months. It's sort of taken everyone by surprise, I think."

He continued:

"There was so much talk in the press about the couple preparing projects and ready to launch initiatives. When actually it was two people that were like, 'We need a break too.'"

2 weeks ago, Meghan and Harry announced that they would be closing down their social media accounts.

But announcing their next venture in the middle of this pandemic would have been difficult for the couple.

CTV's Laney Lui said a break is the right thing to do.

Lui agrees announcing something new right now would have been "insensitive" for the couple.

Everyone agrees.

She said: "I think that is, both on a personal and a professional level, a smart move. No one is moving forward with plans right now, and if you do have plans to move forward with it's not really a good look to be flaunting that in people's faces. Other people are permanently in a no-go zone right now. Nobody is getting any momentum with anything, so for them to be like 'woohoo, look at us, we have all these things on the agenda,' it would have been insensitive."

Meghan and Harry shared a goodbye message.

They ensured fans they would still be working hard behind the scenes. They said: "While you may not see us here, the work continues. Thank you to this community – for the support, the inspiration and the shared commitment to the good in the world. We look forward to reconnecting with you soon. You’ve been great! Until then, please take good care of yourselves, and of one another."

But, dropping their role roles has also had a huge impact on Prince Harry's full name.

In documents registering his new green travel firm Travalyst, his new full name has been revealed.

Harry founded the company along with big-name brands including Tripadvisor, Booking.com, Skyscanner, Visa, and Trip.comand.

The Travalyst scoring system advises vacationers on how bad for the environment their flights are. According to the Daily Star, official documents registered with Companies House list him as an “individual person with significant control" in the company.

To start with, Prince Harry has now dropped his Royal surname.

He uses neither his HRH title or Mountbatten-Windsor.

And that's not all...

He has also ditched the surname Wales, which he used both at school, and in the army.

It's a big change-up.

Although, at the time of writing, The Royal Family website says this: “The Prince of Wales chooses to alter the present decisions when he becomes king, he will continue to be of the House of Windsor and his grandchildren will use the surname Mountbatten-Windsor."

So, what is Harry's new full name?

He is now listed as Prince Henry Charles Albert David, Duke of Sussex.

This week, news has broken that Prince Harry has allegedly spoken to the Queen regarding the name changed...

Apparently the Prince “reassured" the Queen that his decision to unofficially drop Mountbatten-Windsor is “not a personal dig" against her or the rest of the royal family.

In fact, Harry doesn't have plans to legally drop "Mountbatten-Windsor" from his name...

According to an Us Weekly source, Harry is “not planning to officially drop his Mountbatten-Windsor title legally." So, it's all just a casual, unofficial thing. No shade here. Interested in more like this? Keep scrolling to find out the devastating news Prince Harry has just received...
