The royal spoke out today when a reporter questioned him.
Keep scrolling to find out exactly what he had to say...
Now, this was the moment we'd been waiting for...
Since the interview dropped, we'd been on tenterhooks waiting for a response from the Royal family.
It's no secret that the couple had been having a tough time thanks to the pressures from the royal family.
But we did not expect things to be this wild.
It's clear that issues started from the day Meghan and Harry announced they wanted to be married. However those same issues still haunt them both today, despite them packing their things and moving hundreds of miles away from the family.
The couple's revelations hit everyone hard.
And after watching the interview, you can't help but sympathize with them for all the traumatizing things they had to endure during their short stay at the Palace.
Here are the top 10 bombshells they dropped on the world...
10. Meghan went into her marriage to Prince Harry very "naively."
She told Oprah that she did not do much research before settling down with Harry.
"I didn't grow up knowing much about the royal family," she said.
"It wasn't something that was part of the conversation at home. It wasn't something we followed."
She explained how, in the States, a lot of people romanticize the idea of being a royal, like it's something out of a fairytale when in actual fact it's entirely different. And even though she didn't expect her life to be as magical as people told her it was going to be, she didn't expect it to take the dark turn that it did.
She also explained how she "never looked up [her] husband online."
She continued: "I just didn't feel the need to because everything that I needed to know, he was sharing with me — or everything we thought I needed to know, he was telling me."
Markle also revealed that she and Harry got married 3 days prior to the televised wedding so they could have a "moment" to themselves.
9. Curtsying Queen Elizabeth, even behind the scenes.
Meghan was first introduced to her soon-to-be relatives, including the Queen, when the pair were invited for lunch at the Royal Lodge, where Sarah Ferguson and Prince Andrew live.
"Right, do you know how to curtsy?" Harry asked Meghan upon finding out that she would be meeting his grandmother.
But Meghan was confused because she thought curtsying was just an official move.
"I genuinely thought that was what happens outside. I thought that was part of the fanfare. I didn't think that was what happens inside. And I said, 'But it's your grandmother,' and he said, 'It's the Queen.'"
8. Meghan's suicidal thoughts.
After marrying into the royal family, Meghan revealed that she had "suicidal thoughts."
"I was ashamed to say it at the time and ashamed to have to admit it to Harry."
"But I knew that if I didn't say it - then I would do it."
The former Suits actress revealed that she faced tremendous backlash in the press which made her spiral downwards.
"I just didn't want to be alive anymore," she added. "That was a clear and real and frightening and constant thought."
Meghan also revealed that during this dark time, she has spoken another senior royal who informed her that she couldn't seek help for mental health because it would look bad on the family as a whole.
7. Meghan made Harry realize he was "trapped."
When Oprah asked Harry if he would have been able to step down from his royal duties without Meghan, he said that he wouldn't have.
His response was actually very concerning...
"I wouldn't have been able to, because I myself was trapped as well. I didn't see a way out."
He explained what it was like being part of that family.
"No matter who you are in the family, no matter what's going on in your personal life, no matter what's just happened, if the bikes roll up and the car rolls up you gotta get dressed you gotta get in there, wipe the tears away, shake off whatever you're thinking about, and you gotta be on your A-game."
He also added how he has "compassion" for his brother and his father.
"They don't get to leave. And I have huge compassion for that."
6. Harry was cut off financially at the start of 2020.
Prince Harry revealed that the couple was cut off financially from the family after they made the announcement to step back from their royal duties and since then, they have been living off the inheritance of Harry's late mother, Princess Diana.
"I've got all my mom left me. And without that, we would not have been able to do this. She saw it coming, and I certainly felt her presence throughout this whole process."
It's easy to see the parallels between the treatment of Diana and Meghan throughout their time as senior royals.
And many worry they are going to see history repeat itself. It really is a scary thought.
5. Meghan was "silenced" by the royal family.
Before the full interview was aired, in a clip it was revealed that Meghan was "silenced" by the Palace.
"I've always been outspoken, especially about women's rights, and that's the sad irony of the last 4 years, I've advocated for so long for women to use their voice."
The idea that she was "protected" by the royal family fully crumbled after the marriage.
Meghan said this:
"That was hard to reconcile because it was only once we were married and everything started to really worsen that I came to understand that not only was I not being protected, but that they were willing to lie to protect other members of the family. They weren't willing to tell the truth to protect me and my husband."
4. Kate Middleton made Markle cry.
Before this interview, there were several reports that Meghan had made her sister-in-law, Kate Middleton cry when in fact, it was the other way around and it was all over a dress for Princess Charlotte.
She said she found the narrative "shocking," when she saw it in the press.
She also referred to it as the "beginning of a character assassination."
While she didn't go into too much detail about the actual incident, she did say that the 2 made up after it.
"I don't say that to be disparaging to anyone, because it was a really hard week of the wedding, and she was upset about something. But she owned it, and she apologized, and she brought me flowers and a note apologizing", but she did say that the situation "made [her] cry" and "hurt her feelings."
3. Concerns over Archie's skin color.
Now this might be one of the most shocking revelations to come out of the interview. Meghan and Harry said that prior to Archie's birth in 2019, there had been months on conversations about his skin color.
Meghan told Oprah this:
"In those months when I was pregnant, all around this same time, we have in tandem the conversation of he won't be given security, he's not going to be given a title, and also concerns and conversations about how dark his skin might be when he's born."
Some had even gone as far as wondering "what that would mean or look like" if their son had dark skin.
What the f***?
The couple said they would never name the people that made these comments because they "think that would be very damaging to them."
"That conversation I'm never going to share," Harry later added when he joined the interview. "At the time, it was awkward. I was a bit shocked."
2. Harry and Meghan are having a baby girl.
The couple announced that they will be having a baby girl during the interview.
"To have any child, any 1 or any 2 would've been amazing, but to have a boy and then a girl — what more could you ask for?" said Harry. "Now we've got our family. We've got the 4 of us, our 2 dogs."
They have not revealed an official due date yet but did mention that it would be during "summertime."
And shockingly, they also revealed that "2 is it." They don't plan on having any more children.
1. Prince Charles stopped taking Harry's phone calls.
After the reports of Meghan and Harry "blindsiding" the Queen and the rest of the royal family with their decision to step back from their duties emerged, Oprah couldn't help but ask Harry about the fiasco.
Harry heavily denied those claims.
"No. I've never blindsided my grandmother. I have too much respect for her."
He continued: "When we were in Canada, I had three conversations with my grandmother and two conversations with my father before he stopped taking my calls."
Harry put this down to the fact that he was taking matters into his own hands.
"I needed to do this for my family," he said, telling viewers about his thought process at the time. "This is not a surprise to anybody. It's really sad that it's gotten to this point, but I've got to do something for my own mental health, for my wife's, and for Archie's as well, because I could see where this was headed."
Meghan and Harry deserve better.
After the interview, the Royal family responded for the first time.
A palace spokesman said: "The whole family is saddened to learn the full extent of how challenging the last few years have been for Harry and Meghan."
"The issues raised, particularly that of race, are concerning."
"Whilst some recollections may vary, they are taken very seriously and will be addressed by the family privately."
"Harry, Meghan and Archie will always be much loved family members."
And now Prince William has also had his say...
When asked by a reporter about the claims made by Meghan and Harry, he responded with "[the royals are] very much not a racist family."
The Duke of Cambridge said he had not yet spoken to his brother, but promised he would.
Let's just hope things get resolved very soon...
