Rapper GloRilla Responds After Fans’ Comparison to Sid the Sloth

Rapper GloRilla has hit back after she was compared to Sid the Sloth from Ice Age.

GloRilla is best known for her top hit, ‘FNF Let’s G0’.

The song entered the Billboard Hot 100 in June and made it to No 91.

As well as, that the twenty-three-year-old has worked with the likes of Cardi B, Latto, and City Girls, and is an up-and-coming rapper on the scene.

“I’ve put in years of hard work to get this point and I’m blessed to sign with the hottest label in music with CMG,” GloRilla said in a recent interview where she discussed her rise to fame.

She also became the first female rapper to sign to Yo Gotti’s CMG imprint.

But that’s not all…

According to The Sun, the rap star has over a 1.5million monthly listeners on Spotify, over 500k followers on Instagram, and over 2.5k subscribers on YouTube.

“Glorilla is a natural born star – she has a different sound and approach that’s needed in hip-hop right now,” Gotti told Billboard.

“It’s one of the quickest rises that I’ve seen in my career because she only dropped in late April and now she has the hottest cultural records in music.

“Glo is hungry for success and determined to win. We look forward to watching her grow as an artist and reach her full potential,” he concluded.

And of course, she’s been getting all the attention from her fans.

But recently, trolls have compared GloRilla to Sid the Sloth from Ice Age.

Fans were quick to jump to her defense, and said: “she takes nothing srs i love her.”

While another said: “That’s crazy she got people hating on how SHE looks, like huh.”

But what exactly did she do to get such a response?

Well, the rapper tweeted: “#SIDGANG” on her profile after Twitter users had been sending her side-by-side comparisons between her and the animated character.

According to reports, she even went as far as changing her Twitter profile picture to Sid the Sloth.
