Rebel Wilson has angered fans with her decision to visit Dubai for a Beyonce concert.
One person wrote: “Gee Rebel. You do know that it’s the death penalty in Dubai for homosexuality?? Supporting such a country is really really poor form, especially as a member of that community.”

She is a forty-two-year-old Australian actress best known for her funny side roles in films.
Working on and off-stage as a comedian, her performances quickly won over audiences due to their self-deprecating nature.
You know when characters in movies are having a particularly sentimental moment in a scene and then another comes in with a very bad, but a hilarious line that completely ruins the moment?
Well, that’s Wilson’s role in almost everything she does.
Her first major role was in Bridesmaids…
She played Kristen Wiig’s roommate, Brynn, and the reviews for the movie were exceptional, with some even branding it a classic chick flick that you “shouldn’t pass on.”
After that, Wilson had gotten her foot well and truly into Hollywood’s door.
The Aussie actress became a talking point and with her acting career only just taking off, the world became her oyster.
Her most famous role had to be in the Pitch Perfect films.
The character brought audiences so much happiness and talk around Wilson’s skills as an actor grew.
You all remember “Fat Amy,” right?
The boisterous character stole the heart of audiences with her hilarious antics and her powerful singing.
Her positive outlook and outspoken ways made people warm to her quickly.
She also didn’t really care about what she looked like, hence the name “Fat Amy.”
However, over the years, Wilson has started taking care of her body more.
There was nothing wrong with her at all, but the actress decided she wanted to be healthier and so changed up her routine to achieve her desired body type.
Speaking in an interview, Wilson once said: “Being unique and different was a really good thing. I walked into my agent’s office for the first time, they looked at me and said, ‘Wow, we have nobody on our books like you.'”
“And they signed me on my second day here… I wouldn’t ever want to compete with what I call ‘the glamours’ – the really gorgeous people. I’m about the brain, the heart, and what’s on the inside. I feel really lucky to be the body type I am.”
The actress also explained that she has a “hormone imbalance in her body” which means she is prone to eat, no matter her mood.
We all know the after-effects of binge-eating, don’t we? But Wilson said that hers was constant. She had this love-hate relationship with food.
After just a few months into doing her new routine, Wilson lost thirty-five pounds.
This sent her fans crazy, questioning just how she managed to do it.
Though she claimed she started the journey in 2016, the drastic changes seem to have happened over the last few years.
And she has regularly been keeping her fans updated on her progress, especially during the pandemic.
On a Instagram post, she said: “Even if you have to crawl towards your goals, keep going, it will be worth it. Try and give a little bit of effort each day… I know some days are frustrating as hell, you feel like giving up, you get annoyed at the lack of progress… but good things are coming your way.”
But her weight loss didn’t stop there as during the filming of the very underwhelming Cats…
Wilson revealed to Entertainment Tonight that she lost over 3 kilos in just 4 days. “I lost 8 pounds shooting my number in 4 days,” she said before disclosing that temperatures reached nearly 100 Fahrenheit on set.
“One, because there’s a lot of physicalities… but also, they heated up the set very high, to almost 100 Fahrenheit, so that we could never cool down.”
She has also been taking her fitness very seriously…
And has been motivating her followers with pictures and videos of her working out and keeping fit in numerous locations around the world.
It seems as though Wilson has worked at her health kick extremely hard…
But, it appears that at first, her team were not onboard with it.
Wilson revealed that her management was opposed to her losing weight at first as she was making money from “being the funny fat girl.”
And people were furious about it…
Wilson spoke with the BBC about her decision to “transform and change” her life.
She revealed to the outlet that when she decided to “physically transform”, she received a “lot of pushback” from her team.
“I got a lot of pushback from my own team, actually, here in Hollywood, when I said, ‘I’m gonna do this year of health, I really feel like I’m gonna physically transform and change my life,” she said.
Her team are said to have questioned “why” she would want to do physically transform.
“And they were like, ‘Why? Why would you wanna do that?’ Because I was earning millions of dollars being the funny fat girl and being that person.”
She explained to the outlet that “even though I was still very confident being bigger,” she knew that some of her “eating behaviours” were “not healthy.”
“Even though I was still very confident being bigger and loved myself, would rock a red carpet being double the size and triple the weight of other actresses, I still felt confident in that,” she said.
“But I knew deep down inside that some of the emotional eating behaviours I was doing were not healthy.”
She also admitted that she used foods to help numb her emotions.
“Like I did not need a tub of ice cream every night,” she said. “That was me kind of numbing emotions using food, which wasn’t the healthiest thing.”
She also came out about a former co-star of hers, who she has said s*xually harassed her…
And then tried to ruin her career.
In an interview with People the actress revealed that a male co-star in one of the films she starred in called her into a room and then pulled down his pants.
“He called me into a room and pulled down his pants,” she alleged, without saying his name. The actress then said that he asked her to perform an inappropriate act in front of his friends.
“It was awful and disgusting,” she told the magazine. “And all the behavior afterwards — this was all before #MeToo — where they kind of tried to destroy me and my career. If it had happened after #MeToo, then I could have just blasted them.”
But, Wilson didn’t just leave it, stating that because she’s “a lawyer” she “documented it.”
“Definitely amongst industry circles, I made sure people knew what happened,” she explained to the outlet.
“Why did I stay in that situation … with that awful guy?
“I should have left. It wasn’t worth it. But at the same time, I was like, ‘Oh well, do the right thing, be a professional and finish the movie.’ Now I would never do that,” she continued.
“I thought even complaining to my agency was a big step. And to complain to the studio. I found out I was like the fourth person to complain about the guy. Such gross behavior, but a lot of women have had it way worse.
“If it happened again, I would probably stand up for myself even more,” she admitted.
She continued: “Because of the bravery of the other women that have stood up and now allowed me an opportunity.”

According to Page Six, Wilson has hit another huge milestone in her life with her girlfriend Ramona Arguma.
The couple have been pretty public about their relationship since they announced it back in June this year.
The announcement post read: “I thought I was searching for a Disney Prince… but maybe what I really needed all this time was a Disney Princess.”
And now it seems the pair have taken things to the next level!
It all started with rumours, after fans spotted engagement rings in one of Wilson’s most recent posts.
Wilson captioned the post: “Date night at @alexisrael’s 40th!”
The gigantic rock got fans speculating already, with one writing: “Do I spot a wedding ring?”
Another wrote: “Look at the hand, look at the hand! She’s hers!”
Page Six reported that the couple is indeed engaged!
“They were making out in a corner and telling everyone how excited they are to be engaged,” said an insider.
Both spotted with bling on their ring fingers, it’s thought that the pair actually got engaged weeks ago…
And it seems like a huge congratulations is in order for the stunning couple!
It’s been announced that the pair have welcomed a baby daughter…
“I can’t even describe the love I have for her, she’s a beautiful miracle! I am forever grateful to everyone who has been involved, (you know who you are), this has been years in the making,” Wilson wrote on her Instagram.
“Thank you for helping me start my own family, it’s an amazing gift. The BEST gift!!
“I am ready to give little Roycie all the love imaginable.
“I am learning quickly… much respect to all the Mums out there! Proud to be in your club,” she wrote.
While expressing her joy of being a new mom, she also revealed she had her baby daughter via surrogate.
“Beyond proud to announce the birth of my first child, Royce Lillian, born this past week via surrogate,” Wilson wrote.
She also went on to praise her surrogate for caring for her baby.
“But particularly wanted to thank my gorgeous surrogate who carried her and birthed her with such grace and care,” Wilson wrote.

She told PEOPLE she came up with the name Royce because she “wanted an original name starting with the letter R and so eventually landed on that one.”
As for the names Lillian and Elizabeth, Wilson said they “are both family names carried by women in my family who I admire.”
“Elizabeth, which is also my middle name, after the late Queen.”
The actress recently got candid with her fans on her Instagram Stories.
She told them what the first week of motherhood has looked like since she welcomed her daughter into the world.
“One week of motherhood is done. “It’s been a total life change,” Wilson said.
While the star spoke about the simple tasks of diaper changing, she also revealed how busy she was.
“Yeah, I’m not looking my most glamorous guys.
“She’s a little tiny thing, but she’s doing so amazing and is healthy and awesome and such a chill baby, actually. So, it’s actually been cool to get to know her,” she said.
But this week, Wilson has come under fire for attending a Beyonce concert in Dubai.
