One of the stars of the trending Netflix series, Bridgerton has a surprising acting credit under his belt… In no other than Harry Potter.

Here’s the full story…

And, since it was founded in 1997, it has experienced nothing but unbelievable volumes of success.

Netflix began launching its own content 6 years ago, starting with political drama, House of Cards, which has gone on to have 6 seasons.

Closely following House of Cards was Orange Is The New Black, which is now one of the platform’s biggest success stories.

It was certainly responsible for an influx of new subscribers…

Many people signed up to the platform to watch the hit show, which follows Piper Chapman as she is sentenced to spend time in a minimum-security women’s prison in Connecticut for transporting drug money ten years earlier.

And, in more recent years, Netflix has continued to churn out major hits.

Shows such as The CrownGlow, and Grace and Frankie have all attracted huge viewership.

And, of course, we can’t forget Stranger Things.

The sci-fi show debuted in 2016 and has since become one of the most popular Netflix originals on the platform.

The streaming giant truly has dominated the market…

Out of all the streaming services, there’s no doubt Netflix is top of the game – with over sixty million paying subscribers in the U.S. alone.

People are going absolutely wild for Bridgerton.

The series is based on best-selling author Julia Quinn’s 8-novel Bridgerton collection, and it’s well and truly swept viewers off their feet.

People have been gushing over the costumes, the music…

And, of course, the scandal-filled drama.

It’s projected that about sixty-three million households will have viewed the show in the month since its Christmas Day release – making it one of the streaming giant’s biggest original series launches ever.

The show also bagged the top spot on Netflix’s top ten ranking in a whopping seventy-six countries.

The show’s creator has even said he would “love” it to run for 8 seasons…

Speaking to Collider, he said: “I feel like the first season was primarily about Daphne and her love story with Simon. “But, this being a family of eight children and there being 8 books, I would love to be able to focus and really tell stories and love stories for all the Bridgerton siblings. For each character, for sure.”

He replied: “I would love that. In success, I would love that.”

There’s no doubt the show has been an absolute smash hit…

But it seems fans have noticed something about one of the series’ stars, Rege-Jean Page.

The actor plays Simon Basset, Duke of Hastings in the hit show.

But it seems he made an appearance in a very famous (and magical) franchise.

That’s right, once upon a time, the actor actually had a cameo in Harry Potter.

More specifically, Harry and the Deathly Hallows Part 1, which hit theaters back in 2011.

During the scene in question, Bill Weasley and Fleur Delacour host a wedding celebration, which is descended into chaos by a Death Eater attack.

Page stands next to Hermione and Mrs. Weasley for a moment before Hermione escapes with Harry and Ron.
He looks so different, doesn’t he?

Following his minor Harry Potter appearance, Page went on to bag a regular role in the popular British series Waterloo Road in 2015.

And of course, he moved onto even bigger things with Bridgerton

The more you know, right?
