This year, we all heard about a trans woman named Jessica Yaniv who caused a stir amongst the community when she announced that she was going to file complaints against other women who refused to wax her.
She went on to sue these women, but the tables were ultimately turned on herself and she very quickly became one of the most hated women on Twitter.
Jessica lost her case against the waxing salon, but this hasn't stopped her from causing controversy amongst the LGBTQ+ community.
British comedian Ricky Gervais is no stranger to Yaniv's drama, and he's taken a brutal swipe at the trans "activist" in the most recent Yaniv controversy.

If you haven't heard of Jessica Yaniv...
Born as Johnathan Yaniv...
An intimate female service...
via: ShutterstockYaniv wanted access to the intimate services that were located in Vancouver earlier this year but was ultimately refused as she still has male genitalia. Any female beautician who refused to handle her manhood was accused of being "transphobic," according to Yaniv, because they are "denying her womanhood."
Complaints were filed against more than a dozen female waxers...
via: TwitterThis was done with the help of the Human Rights Council (HRC) in British Columbia. According to reports, Yaniv claimed that the women’s refusal to give her a Brazilian wax, to handle her manhood while removing hair, is discriminatory behavior.
She certainly didn't hold back...
via: TwitterAccording to The National Post, the HRC hearings revolve around the question: "Should a business be allowed to deny service on the basis of gender identity?"
The hearing learned that Yaniv came across the waxing business via Facebook back in 2018.
via: ShutterstockIt advertised an offer for a Brazilian wax, which involved the removal of pubic hair around the groin. The salon's owner, Marcia Da Silva, said that she had started the home-based-business after previously performing waxes on family and friends.
Da Silva admitted to canceling Yaniv's session.
via: Getty ImagesYaniv booked an afternoon appointment via text message but claimed that, after she declared that she was transgender, the appointment was canceled. Da Silva told the tribunal: “I have no problem with LGBT," but she was, apparently, "just not comfortable waxing male genitals." The idea also did not sit well with her husband, it was reported.
Yaniv began persisting...
via: TwitterDa Silva added that everyone has the right to decide who comes into their home and noted that she was also uncomfortable with the persistent messages that she was receiving from Yaniv. “For my safety, I said, ‘No,’" she testified.
Da Silva said that she defined someone transgender as someone who has undergone gender reassignment surgery.
via: Getty ImagesThis ultimately resulted in Yaniv attempting to tell the tribunal that she was, in fact, intersex and that she had female body parts - which she had failed to mention at any point previously.
A nerve had clearly been touched...
via: ShutterstockIt was reported that the hearing developed into a name-calling session, with Yaniv comparing Da Silva to a "neo-nazi."
Women are having action taken against them for refusing to handle male genitalia...
via: Getty Images2 of these women have already been forced out of business by the HRC's actions.
Despite the LGBTQ+ community usually standing by one another...
via: Miranda YardleyPeople were quick to turn against Yaniv, branding her a "psychopath" and even a "predator."
Many have questioned Yaniv as to why she didn't use unisex waxing.

The truth about Yaniv slowly began to come out after the case went public...
Screenshots from conversations with Yaniv via Facebook messenger have emerged...
via: TwitterThese screenshots were provided anonymously and were taken when Jessica identified as Johnathan. They show the disturbing nature of Yaniv's conversations with other women that display her bizarre and extremely inappropriate interest in young girls.
The conversations are an extremely uncomfortable read...
via: TwitterIn them, Yaniv displays her curiosity and interest in young girls and their periods, explaining that she is often curious when in the female locker rooms of a gym.
Yaniv's comments caused great concern.

Yaniv also helped to organize a youth "All Bodies" swim in her local area...

But karma works in wonderful ways...It seemed as if the tables eventually turned and, instead of the other women being punished, Yaniv became the one with metal cuffs around her wrists.
And it may not be for the reasons that we've already outlined...It's no secret that the woman was extremely creepy, making disturbing comments about the intimate aspects of being a woman, or should we say a girl... but that wasn't the reason that she got arrested.
You would never believe what happened during a public YouTube debate with Yaniv.
via: YouTubeBlaire White, a transgender woman who continually advocates for LGBTQ+ rights, was involved in a "heated debate" with Jessica. The video's title involved the word "predator," so you can already imagine the hostile tone of the vid.
Throughout the video, the two discussed the difficulties of being a trans woman.
via: YouTubeAnd, after rummaging around in a drawer, Yaniv revealed that she keeps a stun gun, pepper spray, and bear spray in her apartment due to the fact that she's scared.
It is illegal in Canada to be in possession of such weapons.
via: YouTubeThe weird thing is that, after she zapped it towards the camera, she even stated that fact while smiling. White's facial expression said it all; she was shocked at what Yaniv had just done.
However, Yaniv claimed that she was charged unfairly.
via: YouTube"About three minutes after (the broadcast), I have RCMP showing up at my door and putting me into cuffs saying I have a prohibited weapon." She claimed that officers showed up at her apartment, despite already "knowing" that she had these weapons.
Weirdly enough, though, she called the police again after she was released.
Throughout all of this drama and controversy...
via: TwitterYaniv's case to sue the original beauty salon and its workers who refused to wax her scrotum was officially dismissed.
Her complaint was found not to be authentic.
via: TwitterThe British Columbia Human Rights Tribunal said that Yaniv had "manufactured the conditions for a human rights complaint" when she had demanded a bikini wax despite still having a full set of male genitalia.
The salon specialized in the treatment of female genitalia only.Because the salon had never waxed anyone’s scrotum, the tribunal said, it could not be said to be discriminating against Ms. Yaniv.
The workers of the salon were not trained to handle male genitalia.
via: TwitterThe verdict from the tribunal read: "Human rights legislation does not require a service provider to wax a type of genitals they are not trained for and have not consented to wax."
Yaniv's actions were purely manipulative.
via: TwitterThe ruling said that Yaniv “targeted small businesses, manufactured the conditions for a human rights complaint, and then leveraged that complaint to pursue a financial settlement from parties who were unsophisticated and unlikely to mount a proper defense."
The evidence Yaniv herself gave was, according to the tribunal, “disingenuous and self-serving."
via: InstagramJay Cameron, a lawyer for the Justice Centre for Constitutional Freedoms, said: "Self-identification does not erase physiological reality." "Our clients do not offer the service requested. No woman should be compelled to touch male genitals against her will, irrespective of how the owner of the genitals identifies."
After the case was announced to be dismissed...Yaniv went silent on social media (for once), but of course, this silence wasn't to last.
Yaniv, yet again, took to Twitter to complain about more trans-related issues. She is now complaining about a gynecologist in her local area who refused to see her because she's transgender.
She believes that transgender women have every right to visit their local gynecologist...Yaniv tweeted on Tuesday to her 140,000 followers, "Gynaecologists form a part of the multidisciplinary team who engage with transgender and non‐binary patients, either as part of the transition stage performing surgery or managing pre‐ or post‐transition gynecological problems."
Yaniv strongly stands behind the fact that this is discrimination against the trans community. She also added that the CPSBC (College of Physicians and Surgeons of British Columbia) confirmed that the refusal is discrimination under the BC Human Rights Code and against their code of ethics.
CPSBC spoke out over Yaniv's complaint...
In a statement, a spokesperson said: "College staff never offer opinions on specific situations discussed over the phone with patients. As is normal practice, staff refer callers to practice standards to guide them in making their own decision about whether or not to file a complaint against a physician."
"In this instance, the caller was directed to a practice standard, access to Medical Care, which addresses discrimination. This in no way was a validation."
Another complaint will be made..."I’ll file a complaint with you today about that clinic. Trans people need to be included, not excluded from society. Pre and post-gender-affirming surgery care is super important!" Yaniv then added.
Of course, not everyone is impressed with Yaniv's complaints...And this includes British comedian and actor, Ricky Gervais.
