Things have gotten a little bit awkward between Rosie O’Donnell and her daughter, Vivienne, after she admitted her childhood wasn’t exactly normal.
But after hearing what her daughter had to say, O’Donnell hit back.

Now, Rosie O’Donnell is well known for being a comedian, but she’s also embarked on a lot of other ventures during her career.
Not only is she a TV personality, but she’s also been a television producer, actress, and even an author.
She started out her comedy career as a teen and later landed her first role on screen in the 1984 series Star Search.
After making her debut on screen, O’Donnell was later given her very own daytime talk show, The Rosie O’Donnell Show, which aired between 1996 and 2002.
The show was so popular that it won multiple Daytime Emmy Awards.
This further thrust her into the spotlight, and she donned the nickname “Queen of Nice.”
She has achieved a lot over the years and has garnered a reputation for her philanthropic efforts.
But that’s not all…
As well as her impressive accomplishments, she has also been an advocate for gay adoption rights.
O’Donnell has both fostered and adopted several children, and recently one of her children has spoken out about her unusual childhood.
O’Donnell shares 4 kids with ex-wife Kelli Carpenter, the youngest being her daughter Vivienne.
They also share sons Parker, 27, Blake, 22, and daughter Chelsea, 24.
And it seems that life in the O’Donnell house was never ordinary for the kids.
Vivienne told her TikTok followers that her mom was “never” a normal parent.
“No offense, Mom,” Vivienne said.
“She just didn’t really inform us [about] really anything.”
She explained: “Once I would find [things] out, she’d be like, ‘Vivi, come on, you know that. Like, you know that.'”
However, she also praised her mom, adding: “She has done so much for me, and I’m so incredibly, incredibly thankful for her, but one thing she’s not done is normal.”
Vivienne explained her previous comments in a “storytime” TikTok video she posted just hours earlier.
“At my birthday parties, this beautiful woman would always come, and I was like, ‘Yeah, there’s Mo,’” she shared.
“I never had any idea who the f*** she was. … Then I find out it was Madonna all these years.”
She continued, “It was the same thing with Oprah [Winfrey].”
And now, O’Donnell has hit back at her daughter…
Responding to her daughter’s video, she threatened to “tell some secrets” about Vivienne in her own TikTok addressing the comments.
“Vivi, what do you mean I didn’t do anything normal?” the sixty-year-old said on Thursday.
“I did normal things. I’m normal. I’m totally normal.”
She then jested: “Jeez, Viv. I’m gonna tell some secrets about you!”
