Royal Fans Worried About Prince Harry After He Avoids Answering 'How Are You?' | 22 Words

Meghan and Harry have gone through a lot over the last year, and the whole experience seems to be taking its toll on Harry.

His latest reply to the simple question "how are you," has left fans everywhere extremely worried.

Harry and Meghan have had a year of big change.

And fans are starting to worry it might have all got a bit too much for Harry.

Following their stepping back as senior royals...

Harry lost much of the privileges of royalty.

In particular?

The military titles that went with his job.

And that's not all...

Harry is clearly struggling with everything else that's going on at the minute, just like the rest of us. And his latest interview has really shocked fans of the royal...

Meg and Harry met on a blind date.

The pair hit it off, and they immediately arranged to see each other again, eventually going on to have 2 more dates in London.

And, in 2017, after a couple of months of privacy...

The pair officially went public with their relationship.

Meghan was instantly catapulted into the royal spotlight.

Though she was already pretty well known for her role as Rachel Zane in Suits, the California-born actress was thrown into levels of fame that she had never experienced before.

The world quickly became Meghan and Harry obsessed.

And people were delighted to hear the news of their engagement later that year.

And, not ones to waste any time...

The couple officially tied the knot in May 2018 and shortly after, had their son, Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor.

They make for the cutest little family.

But things haven't been as rosy and smooth-sailing as they have been appearing.

Meghan hasn't had the easiest time...

Joining the British royal family was never going to be an easy transition, given that a person has to give up their entire life in order to be a part of the monarchy. But Meghan's experience has been especially difficult.

Many dedicated royalists weren't happy to see an American woman of colour in the monarchy...

And many attacked the Duchess, slamming her as "fake," with some going as far as accusing her of breaking up the royal family entirely.

She has also been relentlessly attacked by the press...

To the point where Kensington Palace was forced to issue a statement, pleading for the press and the public alike to take a step back when it comes to their scathing reporting and bombardment of Meghan. And until this, day this hasn't stopped.

But, this year, the couple have seemingly had enough of the harassment and the criticism...

Because they announced earlier this year that they would be officially stepping down as senior members of the royal family.

They made the announcement on their joint Instagram page, Sussex Royal.

“After many months of reflection and internal discussions, we have chosen to make a transition this year in starting to carve out a progressive new role within this institution. We intend to step back as ‘senior’ members of the Royal Family and work to become financially independent while continuing to fully support Her Majesty The Queen," the post read.

The couple plan on providing a more "normal" upbringing for Archie...

And announced that they will be splitting their time between the U.K. and North America. “This geographic balance will enable us to raise our son with an appreciation for the royal tradition into which he was born, while also providing our family with the space to focus on the next chapter, including the launch of our new charitable entity," they wrote.

This was huge news...

And it was bound to have ruffled a couple of feathers in Buckingham Palace.

But what many people have failed to take into consideration...

Is how hard this whole experience must have been for Meghan - a new mother.

Fuel continued to be added to the fire.

Between being mom-shamed and slammed, Meghan truly can't relax without having to look over her shoulder.

Since her and Harry's sudden move to Los Angeles...

They seem to be settling much more into quieter and more normal family life.

But even then, they can't seem to catch a break from the press.

Lady Colin Campbell, a notorious anti-Meghan stan, released a book Meghan And Harry: The Real Story in which she describes some first and second-hand observations about the former royals, and in particular, Meghan's ambitions in the political sphere.

But what we need to remember about this is that Campbell may have never even met them before.

There has been no evidence of the 2 crossing paths, but it seems as though Campbell still loves to discuss their business, so much so that she released an entire book on it. Sounds a little obsessive.

But all these attempts to tarnish Meghan's credibility come out of fear.

Daily Mail's royal expert, Russell Myers, has claimed that the Queen, as well as a number of the other prominent royals, are going to be left "distressed" after hearing some of the claims that Meghan wanted to discuss, including the fact that she felt unprotected by the family when she was pregnant with Archie.

As the couple settles into LA life...

Reports have come in that the pair are planning on pitching a TV show that will take a "political stance" on feminism and racial inequality.

Now, of course...

These issues are something Meghan has spoken up about in the past. Just last month she spoke at the Girl Up Global Leadership Summit, for instance.

But people don't tend to like the fact that she weighs into politics.

In fact, people regularly slam her online for it. Take last weekend for instance, when Meghan found herself in the firing line for speaking at an online summit organized by "When We All Vote," in which she told voters "If you are complacent, you are complicit."

So, we can't imagine the potential show is going to go down well with everyone.

Nevertheless, the couple have signed a major deal.

The show is said to focus on "normal" people.

And Netflix has taken the bait, according to the New York Times. The couple has founded a yet-to-be-named production company that will make documentaries, feature films, scripted shows, and children's programming, according to the publication.

"Our focus will be on creating content that informs but also gives hope," the couple shared.

"As new parents, making inspirational family programming is also important to us."

They were reportedly attracted to Netflix's "unprecedented reach will help us share impactful content that unlocks action."

And that's not all.

Industry insiders have shed even more light on the new deal.

And have claimed it could be worth up to $150 million.

But this big fee comes with one major downside.

The fact Harry is no longer a working royal seems to have had a massive impact on him mentally.

During a special Time100 talk on Tuesday night, Harry gave an unusual answer to a pretty simple question.

TIME editor-in-chief Edward Felsenthal started by asking how Harry and Meghan were doing while being cooped up at their place in LA.

He said...

"I think when people ask, 'How are you?' I sense, you know, it's a case of 'Really, how are you?' "Before this year, I think everyone sort of throws that term around and everyone's satisfied with a 'Yeah, I'm good. I'm fine, thanks.' "And then it's moving on to something else," "But I think you're quite right. This year, more so than ever, it really is a question of 'No, no, no. Actually, how are you?'

But Meghan highlighted the silver lining that they've both had more time to spend with baby Archie.

"All things considered, everyone is grappling with a different version of the same thing," she interjected. "For us, we're trying to embrace all of the quality time we get with our son right now and to not miss a single moment of his growth and development, which has been really special."

They both said there is an "overwhelming desire" for truth during the "global crisis" of misinformation online.

They both talked about how the Internet continues to affect critical issues, like gender equality, racial justice, climate change, and mental health.
