Radio Host Rush Limbaugh Dead Aged 70 | 22 Words

The tragic news has just come in that conservative radio host, Rush Limbaugh, has passed away.

He was seventy-years-old.

Limbaugh had dominated the conservative media for 3 decades, and went on to receive the Presidential Medal of Freedom from Donald Trump at the State of the 2020 Union address.

"He is the greatest fighter and winner you will ever meet," Trump said at the time.

"Rush Limbaugh, thank you for your decades of tireless devotion to our country... In recognition of all you have done for our nation, I am proud to announce tonight that you will be receiving our country's highest civilian honor: the Presidential Medal of Freedom."

However, despite his career success, Limbaugh received some devastating news in February 2020.

He was diagnosed with advanced lung cancer.

And today, after thirteen months of battling the illness, Limbaugh lost his fight.

His wife, Kathryn, made the announcement on his radio show, FOX News reported.

"Losing a loved one is terribly difficult, even more so when that loved one is larger than life," she said. Rush will forever be the greatest of all time."

Rest in peace, Rush Limbaugh.

Further updates will be posted accordingly.
