And in his latest SNL sketch, he made a rookie error after getting flustered when he notices who’s in the audience…

As a cast member on the NBC sketch comedy show, Saturday Night Live.

Within just a few years, Ferrell helped to lead a rating renaissance for SNL

And his hilariously unique sketches prompted viewers to loyally tune in every single week.

Ferrel quickly became known for his impersonations, which featured a wide range of celebrities, some of which included; US President George W. Bush, Chicago Cubs announcer Harry Caray, and Iraqi President Saddam Hussein.

These days, Ferrell is best known for his roles in blockbuster hits, with him first making small appearances in comedies such as Austin Powers: International Man of Mystery, and Zoolander.

And it didn’t take him long to start starring in his own projects.

As well as being known as a comedian, Ferrell proved himself to be quite the screenwriter, with his own movies, Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy, Blades of Glory, and Step Brothers being roaring successes.

And, in the process, quickly became one of our country’s favorite comedians.

He still gets flustered on stage!

He starred on Saturday Night Live for seven seasons, and for good reason.

And who can forget when he wore his “patriotic underwear” on the show after 9/11.

But even Ferrel can be thrown off his game, especially when a handsome celebrity is in the audience.

And people are loving Ferrell’s hysterical monologue.

The host turned into a giddy mess, frequently bringing the spotlight back onto Reynolds.

Ferrell got a chance to be his awkward, silly self and everyone loved it.

The best part was Ferrel’s Tracy Morgan impression.

That led to Morgan himself coming out on stage, and it all got pretty weird.

Woody Harrelson, Rachel Dratch, Maya Rudolph, Fred Armisen, Larry David, and Alec Baldwin also performed.

He played the “Guy Who Knows the Owner” with Alex Moffat’s “Guy Who Just Bought a Boat.”

Kate McKinnon and Will Ferrell starred as parents doing a promo for a restaurant, and it wasn’t short of laughs.
