Will Ferrell is perhaps one of the most treasured actors of our time, but he's still human...

And in his latest SNL sketch, he made a rookie error after getting flustered when he notices who's in the audience...

The comedic actor first established himself in the mid-'90s...

As a cast member on the NBC sketch comedy show, Saturday Night Live.

Within just a few years, Ferrell helped to lead a rating renaissance for SNL...

And his hilariously unique sketches prompted viewers to loyally tune in every single week.

From there, his career took off.

Ferrel quickly became known for his impersonations, which featured a wide range of celebrities, some of which included; US President George W. Bush, Chicago Cubs announcer Harry Caray, and Iraqi President Saddam Hussein.

And then, along came the movies.

These days, Ferrell is best known for his roles in blockbuster hits, with him first making small appearances in comedies such as Austin Powers: International Man of Mystery, and Zoolander.

And it didn't take him long to start starring in his own projects.

As well as being known as a comedian, Ferrell proved himself to be quite the screenwriter, with his own movies, Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy, Blades of Glory, and Step Brothers being roaring successes.

He established his own unique form of comedy in these movies...

And, in the process, quickly became one of our country's favorite comedians.

But, despite his experience...

He still gets flustered on stage!

Will Ferrell wouldn't normally let anything get to him during a performance.

He starred on Saturday Night Live for seven seasons, and for good reason.

He has now hosted 5 times!

And who can forget when he wore his “patriotic underwear" on the show after 9/11.

You would have thought this weekend would have been a walk in the park.

But even Ferrel can be thrown off his game, especially when a handsome celebrity is in the audience.

Ryan Reynolds was sitting just a few feet away when Ferrel lost his cool...

And people are loving Ferrell’s hysterical monologue.

Ferrell spotted the Deadpool actor sitting in the front row just moments after starting.

The host turned into a giddy mess, frequently bringing the spotlight back onto Reynolds.

While it was obviously uncomfortable for Reynolds, it was definitely fun for everyone else.

Ferrell got a chance to be his awkward, silly self and everyone loved it.

Ferrel and SNL go hand in hand, there's no way it could go bad.

The best part was Ferrel's Tracy Morgan impression.

I mean any Tracy Morgan impression wins my vote.

That led to Morgan himself coming out on stage, and it all got pretty weird.

There were many big names in the episode...

Woody Harrelson, Rachel Dratch, Maya Rudolph, Fred Armisen, Larry David, and Alec Baldwin also performed.

Even Reynolds made an appearance!

He played the “Guy Who Knows the Owner" with Alex Moffat’s “Guy Who Just Bought a Boat."

But the stand out segment was definitely Bertucci’s commercial...

Kate McKinnon and Will Ferrell starred as parents doing a promo for a restaurant, and it wasn't short of laughs.
