Be prepared to get nostalgic, because the mystery machine has a brand new passenger…

The upcoming film, Straight Outta Nowhere: Scooby-Doo Meets Courage the Cowardly Dog, sees the gang join forces with Courage the Cowardly Dog!

And the trailer gives us serious flashbacks.

The old-school animation will surely delight old fans of the franchise…

Straight Outta Nowhere takes Mystery Inc. on a mission to Courage the Cowardly Dog’s domain, where Scoob and the gang are faced with a giant cicada monster.

Director Cecilia Aranovich made an official statement about the new movie…

[Straight Outta Nowhere] is definitely going to trigger acute nostalgia for those of us who grew up watching both Scooby-Doo and Courage shows, and it will also bring these wonderful characters to a new generation of viewers.”

“Merging the two worlds in a cohesive manner was one of the most challenging aspects of production,” Aranovich said.

“But I feel we found the right balance by bringing in the design elements and the color palette from the Courage world, as well as infusing Scooby and the gang with the more over-the-top takes and reactions that are so characteristic of Courage. The movie is filled with Easter eggs from the first Courage series, and it is packed with quirky humor, offbeat characters, outlandish action scenes, and of course, the mystery factor that is inherent in every Scooby-Doo plot.”

Straight Outta Nowhere officially comes out on DVD and streaming services on September 14th.

The cast includes Frank Welker as Scoob and Fred Jones, Marty Grabstein as Courage, Grey Griffin as Daphne Blake, Kate Micucci as Velma Dinkley, and Matthew Lillard as Shaggy Rogers.
We can’t wait!
