Serena Williams has been hitting headlines recently for her adorable relationship with her daughter...

We all know it...

Serena Williams is a queen.

Florida-born Serena has made quite the name for herself as a sportswoman...

And, as a result, she is now considered one of the greatest female tennis players of all time.

She holds the most Grand Slam titles in singles, doubles, and mixed doubles combined among active players.

She has been ranked as the No. 1 in singles on 8 separate occasions during her career and in total, she has been No. 1 for 319 weeks, which ranks third in the Open Era among female players behind Graf and Martina Navratilova.

It's needless to say that Serena puts on quite the show on the tennis court...

And she's one of the hardest players to beat.

But not only is Serena a powerful woman on the tennis court...

She is also a powerful woman... full stop.

The pro tennis player is known for taking absolutely no-nonsense...

And she advocates strongly for the equality of women - in particular, female athletes.

Who remembers when she gave the umpire a piece of her mind at the 2018 U.S. Open?

During her women's finals match against Naomi Osaka (who went on to win the title), the chair umpire, Carlos Ramos, gave Serena a violation for a supposed "code violation for coaching."

Serena, who is known for her hot-headed temper, demanded an apology from the umpire who accused her of cheating...

And her strong words truly left a mark on the tennis court.

However, even though trolls branded Serena as "spoiled" and "bratty"...

She was simply standing up for herself by pointing out that male tennis players get away with a lot more than what she was accused of and disciplined for.

The world champion has also sadly been a victim of racism in the past.

Serena, as well as her sister Venus, have been scrutinized in the past for the way in which they wear their hair, as well as being cruelly trolled and discriminated against because of their race. Even though thousands have flooded to the Williams sisters' defense, there's no doubt that racism is still a huge problem.

But, despite the many other controversies that Serena has been involved with during her career...

There's no doubting who her biggest fan is... And that is, of course, her daughter.

Serena has been married to Reddit co-founder, Alexis Ohanian since 2017...

And just before their marriage, their daughter, Alexis Olympia Ohanian Jr. was born.

Sadly, Serena suffered a pulmonary embolism after giving birth...

Which left her bedridden for 6 months, ultimately postponing her return to training.

But in typical Serena Williams fashion, she powered through her grueling recovery and has been an amazing mom to her daughter.

Alexis is clearly Serena's "mini-me", and the tennis star regularly posts adorable snaps of them both on Instagram.

But she is also her number one cheerleader.

While there were no fans in attendance at Serena's match in the US Open earlier this month, her husband and little girl were seen cheering her on... and it is honestly the most adorable thing!

Fans applauded Serena for her grand performance...

And they also noted how her daughter will never forget memories such as these.

An amazing role model...

And clearly, little Alexis is completely besotted by her powerful mom.

She will no doubt learn a lot from her mom...

And we can imagine that Serena will do an exceptional job in raising a strong and independent woman.

Here's the adorable footage:

And that's not the only time Olympia has been the best cheerleader. Let's take a look at some of their cutest moments...
