Shocking Accusations Made Against TikTok Star Charli D’Amelio

TikTok star Charli D’Amelio has been on the receiving end of backlash after she and her family uploaded a “disastrous” YouTube video last week.

And now, more shocking accusations have been thrown her way…

From that disastrous YouTube video which resulted in Charli losing over a million followers to Dixie’s back and forth drama with Trisha Paytas, it’s been a pretty rough time, to say the leas.

And it included a special guest and close friend, James Charles.

And it was met with almost immediate backlash from viewers taken aback by the “disgusting” and “unacceptable” behavior shown by Charli and her sister Dixie.

And more shocking accusations are being made against her.

The sixteen-year-old gained fame for her self-titled channel and has gone on to earn huge popularity for her dances with both viral TikTok dance routines and original choreography.

And her viral fame spawned other projects including a podcast which she hosts with her nineteen-year-old sister Dixie.

But their latest video caused quite a stir.

And to kick off the series, beauty influencer James Charles joined the family for a very luxurious dinner that was provided by a personal chef.

But it didn’t take long for viewers to notice a few little things.

At one point, Dixie even ran away to throw up after trying a snail. It was all very dramatic, might I add.

And that it was instead James Charles calling them out.

At one point Charli complained about not reaching 100 million followers on TikTok in less than a year, despite being the most followed person on the platform.

“Ugh, I wish I had more time,” Charli said while discussing the family’s successful year. “‘Cos imagine if I hit 100 mil a year after hitting a mil.” James responded: “Was the 95 [million] not enough for you?”

They don’t like certain foods and complain about little things. Others even suggested that there are people out there that actually deserve to be “canceled” for their behavior and people should focus on them instead.

So much so, she has now lost over a million following the backlash.

Her followers are dropping as quickly as flies.

And it got so bad that Charli broke down on her Instagram live video last week crying her eyes out because people were repeatedly telling her to kill herself all over what has been described as a “misunderstanding.”

“All of this is happening because [of] a misunderstanding. I just feel like that’s not OK, and if this is the community that I’m in and the community that I put myself in, I don’t know if I wanna do that anymore.”

“I know that this is gonna be a huge joke to whoever sees it, but like, at the end of the day, just, like, be nice,” she continued, referencing death threats she has received. “I feel like it’s not that hard, and you can say whatever. You can say I’m disrespectful, you can say I don’t have basic human decency, but at the end of the day, I’m still a person.”

This is in reference to the fact that she was “complaining” about not reaching the 100 million follower mark as some people accused her of only thinking of them as a number and not people.

“My team knows I throw up a lot. I throw up at the smell, the thought, or the taste of anything,” she claimed. “So, when they saw the snails, they were like, ‘Oh, let’s get her and try to see if we can get a reaction out of her.’ I love [our] chef, and I would never disrespect him in any way,” she explained.

“This charli situation is NOT sitting right with me,” he tweeted. “100M followers in one year & y’all expect her to know how to be a perfect role model? Death threats because she’s a picky eater & made a joke about a milestone? 30+ year olds dragging someone half their age?”

And more accusations have been made about the TikTok star.

Something which had several fellow TikTokers scratching their heads.

This has resulted in some accusing the star of buying her followers.

Claiming this is the only explanation for her getting to 100 million so quickly.

Although it’s unclear how Livecounts acquire their data, many felt it was suspicious.

Some claimed to see that so-called blank or “dummy” accounts were following Charli, which can be a sign of someone having bought followers.

The toxicity of cancel culture. While there are some awful people out there who are simply racist, homophobic, sexist, and just plain mean, causing havoc on the internet, it seems as though people find it easier to just pick on teenagers who don’t like eating snails?
