Her 2015 Super Bowl half time show is thought to be the most-watched musical event ever.

Katy has had an unbelievable number of hit singles.

Even those totally out of touch with pop music could probably sing along to a few of her killer choruses.

Orlando Bloom is also kind of a big deal...

The English actor is one of the most instantly recognizable faces of fantasy, thanks to his role as Legolas in the Lord of the Rings franchise.

Orlando has been famous for a really long time...

And his role as Will Turner in 2003's Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl is what really made him a household name.

Katy and Orlando are now one of Hollywood's more glamorous couples...

But it took them a while to get to where they are now as new parents.

It wasn't until May of 2016 that Katy confirmed the two were officially dating.

She shared this snap of the pair lying down on some steps at the Cannes Film Festival. But, before this, their relationship was kept very hush-hush.

The couple have had some amazingly cute moments together.

They are definitely couple goals!

And, after a couple of relationship hiccups, they finally confirmed that they were officially together in April 2018.

That same month, Katy shared this amazing (yet slightly bizarre) picture of the couple meeting the Pope.

Last Valentine's Day, Orlando shared this cryptic message.

He didn't tag anyone in particular, but fans quickly suspected they knew exactly what it meant.

But Katy soon confirmed everyone's suspicions...

She shared this snap of the corner of the pair's faces, alongside multiple heart-shaped balloons and a truly stunning pink engagement ring... on Valentine's Day in 2019. Orlando shared the same picture, with the simple captions, "Lifetimes."

People were thrilled to hear the news...

And one die-hard fan pointed out that exactly one year ago, Katy had caught the bouquet at her own brother's wedding.

The couple are yet to tie the knot...

But, as of this year, the couple has made a huge step forward in their relationship.

The couple announced that they were expecting their first child together!

And, in typical Katy Perry fashion, she revealed the exciting news in a rather unconventional way...

Through her new music video... of course.

I know, it doesn't get any more A-list than that, does it?

Shortly after the debut, Katy shared a clip of the video on her Instagram, with the cryptic caption:

"Let’s just say it’s gonna be a jam-packed summer..."

She then addressed her pregnancy in an Instagram Live stream...

"I'm excited," she said, "We're excited and happy and it's probably the longest secret I've ever had to keep."

And as for whether it's a boy or a girl?

Well, the couple confirmed it in a typically out-there way - through a pink-icing-smeared selfie, of course!

Katy kept her fans updated throughout her pregnancy...

And it seemed that she had been staying healthy and well throughout the lockdown period.

And we must say...

Katy was rocking the pregnant look.

Well, the highly anticipated day finally arrived in August...

Daisy Dove Bloom came into the world and her arrival was announced with this super sweet Instagram post. "We are floating with love and wonder from the safe and healthy arrival of our daughter." But it turns out, things aren't all perfect for Perry.

Fans were overjoyed for the couple and for Daisy's safe arrival...

And can we also mention how much we love the little girl's name?!

Even though Katy is very much loved by her fans, it turns out that there are actually a lot of shady things about the singer that many decide to simply ignore.

So, let's run through them, shall we?

Perry has made some questionable jokes in the past.

Including one super shady one about mental illness and Britney Spears. Not cool, Katy...

"The only thing left to do is shave my head, which I'm really saving for a public breakdown. I'm down for that."

"Yeah, that's called taking care of your mental health - fantastic, and I haven't shaved my head yet!" she said.

Another thing people find shady about Perry?

Her bizarre feud with Taylor Swift.

And it seems it all started with Perry.

With her shady Tweet "Beware of the Regina George in sheep's clothing." Yikes.

But what makes it even worse?

Perry keeps on bringing it back up!

Remember her cringy diss track "Swish Swish"?

"There's a situation. Honestly, it's really like she started it, and it's time for her to finish it," Perry has said.

It seems she loves using this feud to stay in the headlines...

And has only apologized when it seemed she was being painted as the bad guy.

"I am ready to let [the feud] go. I forgive her and I'm sorry for anything I ever did, and I hope the same from her. I think it's actually like, I think it's time. There are bigger fish to fry, and there are real problems in the world. You know what I'm saying?"

"I love her, and I want the best for her, and I think she's a fantastic songwriter, and I think that if we, both her and I, can be representatives of strong women that come together despite their differences."

Perry has also had some sketchy aspects to her love life, too.

Including hugely public breakups from Travis McCoy, Russell Brand, and John Mayer.

Perry has also made some rather racist moves, too...

Having once said she'd love to "skin" and "wear" Japanese people. What the hell?!

She's also worn geisha costumes in the past...

Which the Japanese American Citizens League publicly condemned, saying, "The thoughtless costuming and dance routines by Katy Perry played carelessly with stereotypes in an attempt to create a Japanese aesthetic."

And that's not the only incident...

Her video for "This Is How We Do" has been accused of appropriating Black culture, too.

Oh, and if that's not enough?

Perry has also been accused of antisemitism.

Her video for "Birthday" featured a particularly offensive stereotype.

Her parents have also come under fire for an anti-Jewish seeming sermon. Double yikes.

She's also come under fire for homophobic comments, too.

"I Kissed a Girl" and "UR So Gay" have both been widely criticized by LGBTQ+ activists.

There's another area where Katy has faced controversy, too.

She's been accused of ripping off other artists many times in the past.

"Roar" sounds a lot like a track called "Brave" by Sara Bareilles.

"I can't say that I think that they don't sound similar," Bareilles has said.

She's also been accused of copying other artists' looks.

The "This Is How We Do" video is reminiscent of Brooke Candy and FKA Twigs and her "Chained to the Rhythm" single art looks like both Lady Gaga and Zara Larsson.

Perry claims to write her own music...

But these claims have been called into question. Meghan Trainor has called her out in the past, saying: "No, Katy Perry will help, but not really, because artists nowadays are trying to take my job and they're trying to write with the big songwriters so now they get credit for writing."

Katy has actually been accused of lying about other things, too.

She claimed in the past she "didn't have a childhood" thanks to her parents' evangelical views, even though her parents have strongly denied these claims.

Another bizarre lie of Katy's has been called into question.

She's claimed, "I actually went to dinner with [Mick Jagger] one time, and he hit on me one time when I was like 18 or 19."

But Jagger has categorically denied the incident.

"Maybe she confused me for someone else." Awkward!

Behind the scenes, Katy has faced further scandal.

CLips of her as a guest judge on American Idol made her appear extremely rude.

So there you have it.

All of the (many) sketchy aspects to Katy Perry's life.
