Studies have shown vast improvements from a flexible schedule.
A trial in New Zealand found a twenty percent increase in productivity and a decrease in stress levels among the employees of a finance company after switching to a 4-day working week.

The peak in productivity meant that staff were still able to get 5 days worth of work done in just 4. This is all looking very promising...

It's that the work from home life is manageable for many of us.
Taking breaks is obviously an important part of the work-life balance.
But there's been one issue plaguing workers for years.
Many smokers enjoy extra breaks throughout the day.
Which non smokers find seriously unfair.
A survey by Halo Cigs shows smokers spend about twenty minutes having smoke breaks.Portcullis is one of the first companies in the UK to implement these working hours, and it doesn't look like they'll be the last.
Over a year, that can add up to about twenty days!
81.2% of smokers think smoke breaks are fair, while only 25.2% of nonsmokers agree.
Following the survey, Japanese company Piala Inc. has offered non-smokers a bonus.
6 vacation days to make up for smokers' cigarette breaks!
They told the Telegraph: "One of our non-smoking staff put a message in the company suggestion box earlier in the year saying that smoking breaks were causing problems."
"Our CEO saw the comment and agreed, so we are giving non-smokers some extra time off to compensate."
