As more and more Americans succumb to the deadly temperatures in Texas, conspiracy theorists are claiming the snow is actually fake.
Keep scrolling for the "evidence" of the bizarre claims and how it's all been proven wrong...
Many are claiming the snow has been put there by Biden himself...
And the absurd allegations don't stop there, either.
The news comes after the state has been experiencing serious problems with power outages.
Over 4 million people have been left without electricity, heating, and hot water.
Things are becoming deadly...
But those that were "lucky" enough to have lighting and heating are also regretting it due to the influx in prices by providers.
An emergency meeting has been called to discuss the issue.
Greg Abbott, the governor of Texas, released a statement after the meeting in which he said this: "We have a responsibility to protect Texans from spikes in their energy bills that are a result of the severe winter weather and power outages."
"Today's meeting was productive, and I applaud Republican and Democrat members of the Legislature for putting aside partisan politics to work together on this challenge."
He also added this:
"We are moving quickly to alleviate this problem and will continue to work collaboratively throughout this week on solutions to help Texas families and ensure they do not get stuck with skyrocketing energy bills."
But, despite the generally "positive" outlook on the situation, Texans have been suffering incredibly.
The current weather conditions are something that we haven't seen in decades.
And it's not only just that one state. Other southern states have also been left without electricity and running water...
With so many people and their families being forced into unbearable living situations.
According to The Guardian, professionals have noted that the heating of the arctic may be to blame for these crazy changes in the weather down south...
Especially for the snowstorms that have been brutally hitting the people of Texas.
They explained the situation:
"[Experts claim] there is evidence that the rapid heating of the Arctic can help push frigid air from the north pole much further south, possibly to the US-Mexico border."
Things have gotten so bad in the last few weeks that people have been forced to evacuate their homes...
And due to the addition of heavy snowstorms and below-freezing temperatures, many states - in particular Texas - have been left completely powerless in most areas.
FYI, many southern states never see this kind of weather meaning that the majority of houses and buildings aren't equipped for below-freezing temperatures.
And not only that, but thirty deaths have been reported so far...
Brutal cold hung over Texas and the central United States on Tuesday, bringing chaos to parts of the U.S. not used to severe winter weather.— The New York Times (@nytimes) February 17, 2021
At least 23 people died across four states, from icy roads and other weather-related incidents.https://t.co/o8gGy927p2 pic.twitter.com/YlB1XYtPDT
And as temperatures continue to fall, this number is expected to rise.
People are doing their best to push through this difficult period...
But with little to no options, some have been forced to make do with what they've got.
Many homes have been left for days without running water...
Hey @tedcruz , can I stay at your place while your traveling to Cancun? Because like millions of your constituents, I'm melting snow TO BE ABLE TO USE A TOILET IN MY HOUSE DURING THE WORST WINTER STORM IN TEXAS HISTORY.#TedCruz #TexasFreeze pic.twitter.com/D6cRQf419t— Mary Dubya (@bubble_gurl) February 18, 2021
And people are having to melt the snow from their front yards in order to flush their toilets and wash their hands.
This is not okay and the fact that the Senator of Texas, Ted Cruz, fled to Mexico with his family really added salt to the wound.
People have been taking to social media to share their new living situations during the unbearable temperatures...

Including Twitch streamer, Edwin Castro, who has been playing video games and streaming in the comfort of his car due to the power cuts.
This Twitter user shared this shocking photo of their fan...
This is how cold it is at my Apartment.— 𝐓𝐇𝐎𝐌𝐀𝐒 𝐁𝐋𝐀𝐂𝐊 ☩ (@ThomasBlackGG) February 16, 2021
As a Texan, yes, I'm certainly not built for this. I don't even care. pic.twitter.com/FMt8imglJp
That had literally frozen to the ceiling and had icicles dangling down from it.
And perhaps the most shocking of them all...
This fish tank in texas is frozen pic.twitter.com/cmD3GTJCcU— Asiago (@fkaLuna_) February 17, 2021
This unfortunate mom found her daughter's fish tank completely frozen with the fish trapped inside.
This is something that hasn't been experienced for decades...
It’s so cold in my Texas town that this container of snow has been sitting in my garage for 2 days and has not melted 😬 pic.twitter.com/60lFBcQXTH— LoLo (@kacchanluvsdeku) February 17, 2021
And right now, people aren't quite sure what to do.
Who knows how long this nightmare will last...
But sadly, it seems as if things are nowhere near close to returning back to normal.
However, the widespread news has led some to believe that the snow in Texas is actually fake...
Conspiracy theorists blame president Joe Biden for the chaos, who has apparently created fake snow that "doesn't melt."
Videos shared on social media show people attempting to burn the snow with lighters while the snow stays the same.

One video shows a man putting a pan full of snow into his oven. According to him, none of it melted.
Another video shows a woman put a jug of snow into a microwave, with the same result.
“snow” lmao hell yes pic.twitter.com/KPpOC9RYpU— beer rat (@redbullbaby420) February 21, 2021
Facebook has already flagged many of these videos for their misleading information.
Another theory has emerged that Bill Gates is somehow trying to "block out the sun," as a result of him funding climate change research.
And while it's pretty obvious the government hasn't covered Texas with fake snow, it still leaves the question, why isn't it melting?
Well, it's a scientific term called 'sublimation.'
WTVR News meteorologist Mike Stone explains: "When you heat something like this, it goes from a solid to a gas. It's called sublimation. This is actually disappearing by going into vapor."
Dr Tandy Grubbs, professor and chair of the department of chemistry and biochemistry at Stetson University, also gave his opinion on the matter...
Okay, this might be Tito’s dumbest conspiracy post to date. pic.twitter.com/0jcDDSah9w— Borrachinha Depot (@FullContactMTWF) February 19, 2021
"Soot would ordinarily not be visible when a lighter is burning in the open air, but the snowball, in this case, is acting as a filter, catching and accumulating the black soot particles, which show up quite visibly on the white snow after a few seconds of exposure."
Check out the full explanation below...
So there you have it, the snow is in fact real... Who'd have guessed.
