We all know the struggle of fishing out your favorite flavor of candy out of the bag, being left with all the pieces you don't like at the bottom. Or, even worse, you open the packet to see that it's full of all the colors that you hate with one measly red one at the bottom.

It feels like such a waste, doesn't it?

But, what if you could have a bag of solely your favorite flavor? Well, it seems like the team at Sour Patch Kids have answered our prayers as our favorite sweet treats now come in red-only and blue-only bags and fans are going crazy for it...

Sour patch kids are a popular choice for those looking for a sugary-fix.

The sour snack first graced shelves in the '70s and have since climbed up the candy ranks.

The sour snack traditionally comes in 4 flavors.

The original line up is Lime (green), Lemon (yellow), Peach (orange), and “Redberry" or Cherry (red). But, in 2014, Blue Raspberry (Blue) was also added to the range.

The franchise is showing no signs of slowing down...

You can now get sour patch kids flavored ice cream, ice pops, and cereal (yes, really).

The team quickly noticed that these were the top flavors...

The red and blue candies seem to be everyone's favorite flavor, with people specifically choosing those colors while snacking.

People began asking the team to create red and blue-only bags.

And it seems like they've listened...

The candy brand then confirmed the news that we'd all been waiting for.

Red-only and blue-only bags are officially a thing, available at  7-Eleven stores right now. It seems like they well and truly fulfilled our candy-themed wishes, writing "Ask and you shall receive," on their Facebook page.

However, there is some sad news...

It's what we've all been dreading. The one-flavor bags are limited edition, so, unfortunately, we don't know how long they'll be around for.

But it seems like people are still pretty excited about the announcement.

It looks like fans rushed out to buy their favorite candy.

Although others weren't so pleased...

Some fans were disappointed that their favorite flavor didn't make the cut.

All the candy talk got you feeling hungry for more?
