A Southwest Air Captain was forced to lend his shirt to a passenger this week after she was refused onto the flight due to her top...
Clothing, believe it or not, is a big issue when flying.

But, many have one big issue with this.
via: Getty ImagesWe've all seen the headlines before surrounding women who haven't been allowed to board their flight due to wearing something "too revealing," while claiming their male counterparts can get away with wearing even less.
Many have put this down to people trying to "police" women's bodies. And it's regularly called out on social media.
This week appears to be no exception...And it's conjured up quite a response on social media.
A woman says she was forced to change her top before boarding her flight with Southwest Airlines...
Kayla took to social media to express her outrage at the situation.
In another post, Kayla shared video she took of an employee searching for Southwest’s dress code policy, minutes before departure time...
However, the gate agent couldn't find the policy in question stating the alleged dress code...“You’re not letting me on the plane because of a policy you can’t prove exists?" Kayla says in one of several clips she posted to Twitter.
She then recorded the captain, who had just come out of the bathroom at the gate...The captain walked over to her after having been summoned by an employee.
“They’re hating on you because you’re looking good, is that right?" the captain says to Kayla.
“If they’re like, ‘Hey, the rule says you have to cover up,’ do you have something?" he asks. “Do you have a shirt or do you want me to give you one of mine?"

Kayla was then told to wear the captain's shirt in order to be able to board the flight - which was already delayed at this point.
“The CAPTAIN of the flight loaned me his shirt so that I could board (having been removed from the flight and the flight being delayed). I eventually took it off.. Only to be told that I would have to speak with a supervisor upon landing," she wrote in a tweet showing her seated with the T-shirt.

Things didn't end there, however.
After handing back the shirt after her flight, Kayla was then confronted by more staff. "Listen to them... the tone in their voice and everything is flat out wrong. Make it make sense," she wrote alongside the clip.

Kayla's posts gained a lot of attention.
Reactions were mixed...

SW Airlines are yet to speak out after the incident. This isn't the first time that clothing has needlessly caused people serious problems. One man was subjected to a horrendous attack because he was wearing tight shorts at a Pride event...
