It’s safe to say Billie Eilish’s love life has the internet in a frenzy.
This comes after the singer was snapped holding hands with another celeb!

Billie Eilish has taken the music industry by storm.
She’s been writing and creating her own music since she was incredibly young, and has risen to fame with the huge hit album When We Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go? that was released in March 2019.
She’s known for being somewhat of a quirky character…
Billie was home-schooled, so she didn’t get the chance to interact with others of her own age apart from her siblings until she started to make waves in the music scene, which has given her something of a unique outlook on the world.
It reflects in her art.
Many are pretty shocked that such a young person could create such hauntingly catchy tunes — and such suggestive lyrics.
Her debut album, When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go?, ranked at number 1 on the charts.
Most artists have to release a couple of albums and dedicate their lives to promoting their work before they are even recognized as an artist, but then there are a lucky few, like Billie, who reach superstardom on their first attempt.
When the album was released, she wrote, “This album [means] the world to me please take care of it.”
And that’s not all…
Her introductory EP, Don’t Smile at Me, went all the way to slot fourteen, and has already been awarded gold, an achievement that many artists can only dream of receiving.
But, it’s safe to say, Billie is as famous for her image as she is for her music…
She doesn’t dress like your typical teenage girl, that’s for sure.
Billie is known for rocking some pretty wild looks…
And she owns it!
And Billie doesn’t just experiment with fashion…
The star is no stranger to getting creative with her hair — opting for more out there looks and colors to fit her quirky aesthetic.
It began with the silver locks.
If anything, it was this look that became her trademark around 2017.
And who’s ever going to forget about this iconic color combo?
Billie made waves while sporting neon green roots. No one could ever.
She’s spoken out about her style before…
Her choices in fashion – which strongly consist of baggy, oversized clothes – are picked to protect herself from her global audience body-shaming her and judging her on her natural appearance.
Speaking in an interview a few years ago, Billie explained these choices…
“That’s why I wear baggy clothes,” she said.
“Nobody can have an opinion because they haven’t seen what’s underneath. Nobody can be like, ‘she’s slim-thick,’ ‘she’s not slim-thick,’ ‘she’s got a flat a**,’ ‘she’s got a fat a**.’ No one can say any of that because they don’t know.”
But sadly, people have already attempted to exploit and body-shame the teenager. Even when she was as young as fifteen, online trolls were trying to s*xualize her for no apparent reason.
And it is a harsh reality that young women in the spotlight are always targeted by older people.
Let me get this straight. Just because there’s a line in her song “bad guy” that reads: “bruises on both my knees for you,” it’s now acceptable to start s*xualizing her? I really don’t see the correlation here.
Billie has the right to write about whatever she wants…
There’s no excuse for s*xualizing a young woman… Or any woman of any age, for that matter. She was only seventeen when she started experiencing this kind of disrespect.
But, when discussing the topic, Billie has said in the past that she doesn’t want to remain covered up forever.
“I’m going to be a woman. I want to show my body,” Billie told Elle in an interview back in 2019.
“What if I want to make a video where I want to look desirable?” she said.
But she understands the repercussions a move like that could bring. “I know it would be a huge thing,” she said in the interview, adding, “I know people will say, ‘I’ve lost all respect for her.'”
Well, in December 2019, the pop sensation turned eighteen.
And we have yet to notice any changes in her fashion sense and clothing choices.
Until…
Taking to Instagram, the “Bad Guy” singer decided it was time to post her first bikini picture…
Who knew this would cause the internet to break down?
So many vile human beings exposed themselves over one simple and innocent picture of a girl and her friends on vacation. From body-shaming to s*xualization, people just couldn’t hold back from reacting to the photo.
Within hours, “Billie Eilish body” was trending on Twitter and horrid comments about her body started pouring in.
A lot of these have since been deleted after they received backlash.
Billie posted a series of photos from a little vacation she had to Hawaii.
Among the 10 posts, there were 2 videos/boomerangs. One of them showed the top half of Eilish while she was having a shower (with a bathing suit on) and the other was a post of her and her friend on a boat just staring at the water.
If she’s happy, just let her be, right?
Take a look here.
Billie recently addressed the unwarranted media attention regarding her body.
In Miami, before performing all the good girls go to hell, a video interlude came on screen, and what Billie had to say got a lot of fans praising the star.
“She wears layers, people have issues, she wears less, people have issues. People are never happy. Ignore them. There’s always someone who’s got an issue,” one person wrote.
“This is such a beautiful and powerful message done in a beautiful artistic way, it really grabs your attention and reaches into your soul, and it is so awesome to have someone like Billie, who so many young people look up to and idolize, to send such a powerful message in just a 3 minute and 40-second video to over 35 million people,” another expressed.
“You have opinions,” her video began, “about my opinion, about my music, about my clothes, about my body.”
She could then be seen removing her clothes. “Some people hate what I wear, some people praise it, some people use it to shame others, some people use it to shame me, but I feel you watching, always, and nothing I do goes unseen.”
She continued: “The body I was born with, is it not what you wanted? If what I wear is comfortable, I am not a woman.
“If I shed the layers, I am a sl*t … If I wear more, if I wear less, who decides what that makes me? What that means? Is my value based only on your perception?”
She ended the short film: “Or is your opinion of me, not my responsibility?”

Since then the singer has been spotted by the paparazzi and guess what?
The body shamers were back in full swing.
Back in October 2020, Billie spoke openly about body shamers and how young girls should dress so they aren’t s*xualized.
She told Elle magazine that the baggy clothes were because of society’s problem and inability to resist s*xualizing young women, not because she was insecure.
The singer also gave an example of a time when she was wearing a tank top in Nashville, someone took a photo of herself, and it went viral on social media.
“My b**bs were trending on Twitter!” she said. “At number one! What is that?! Every outlet wrote about my b**bs!”
“I look good in it,” she added. “I was born with f***ing b**bs, bro. I was born with DNA that was gonna give me big-a** b**bs.”
Billie even said that her breasts have gotten her sl*t and body shamed in the past, and that’s why she covers them.
“I was recently FaceTiming a close friend of mine who’s a dude, and I was wearing a tank top. He was like, ‘Ugh, put a shirt on!’ And I said, ‘I have a shirt on.’ Someone with smaller boobs could wear a tank top, and I could put on that exact tank top and get slut-shamed because my b**bs are big. That is stupid. It’s the same shirt!”
Billie added that as she gets older, people should expect her style to change.
“I’m gonna be a woman. I wanna show my body,” she said. “What if I wanna make a video where I wanna look desirable? Not a porno! But I know it would be a huge thing. I know people will say, ‘I’ve lost all respect for her.'”
But in recent months, there’s been another thing that’s grabbing headlines.
Billie’s love life!
And a recent video appears to have confirmed some rumors …
It showed Billie holding hands with The Neighbourhood’s Jesse Rutherford.
And people are pretty shocked about one thing in particular …
Their age difference!
Billie is just 20 years old, while jesse is 31!
It’s clear to see the video has got a lot of fans talking!
What do you think?
